Unfrozen Love

~* Chapter 1 *~

Gray softly lay the female on top of the bed inside the infirmary, and numbers of mages from Fairy Tail stood outside the door, wondering why Gray had brought in a complete stranger from his quest.

"Oi, GRAY!" That hyper-active voice yelled louder as he slammed the door open, but stopped as he stared at Gray's concern look. "Why are you so concerned?" Natsu ask before walking closer to his rival.

Then, he took a glance at the person on the bed, which surprised him a little. "Gray brought a girl in?!" Natsu yelled, but was quickly kicked back out of the door.

"Shut up, Fire-Breath! Can't you see someone's trying to sleep?!" Gray raise his fist in frustration, but face-palmed himself for being so loud. 'Curse that idiot...'

Then, a slight groan escaped from the females body, and the female's peaceful face was scrunched up. The eyelids fluttered open, revealing onyx eyes, like the color of her hair.

"Hey," Gray said, softly. 'Why am I acting all polite over her??' "You alright?" He can see the confusion on her face, but her eyes widened. "Where am I??" She panicked.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's alright, you're safe." Gray said, giving soothing words to her. Her body slightly tensed as Gray placed a hand on her shoulder, but relaxed as she felt the warmth emitting off his hand.

He watched her slowly sling her legs to the side of the bed, the covers wrinkled up over her thighs. He caught a glimpse of white on a few strands of her hair, and a tint of bright blue in the twinkle of her eye.

"What's your name?" Master Makarov walked in front of the black haired female, who seems to be leaning over her legs and thinking over something.

"Name..?" She questioned, shaking her head side by side, "I don't remember my name..." She rubbed her temple in slow, circular circles, trying to get the misty cloud out of her mind, "I don't remember..."

"It's alright, child." Makarov gave her a smile to her, "We'll make up a name."

"How about... Yuki?" Gray suggested, but Natsu let out a scoff, "Yuki is such a lame name, Ice-Breath!" Natsu grinned, "Why not Kasai or-"

"Does that name seems to fit her, Squinty eyes." Gray growled, but heard a slight giggled. "I like Yuki." the black haired female beamed a smile to him, which seems to fluster him.

"Um..." He was lost in words. He rubbed the back of his neck with embarrassment, "Okay then.. Yuki." Gray gave her a side smile before saying, "I'm Gray Fullbuster, Fire Breath over here is Natsu Crapneel."

"Say my name correctly, Gay Fullbuster!" Natsu yelled, but laughed as he realized what he had just said. Gray shot a punch at Natsu, which sent him crashing through the wall.

Yuki clapped her hands together, laughing, "You guys are funny!" She took in a deep breath before planting a smile, "I like you." Natsu and Gray stood still, each hand either grabbing each others hair or pulling each others cheeks.

Then, the two males flushed automatically. Makarov grinned as he shot his hand in the air, saying, "Well, Gray! It seems that you had brought a very fine lady here to the guild today."

"W-what! What are you talking about, Oji-chan!" Gray yelled, his cheeks tinted with red. "I think you should give her a tour around the town, give her some more sense about the town." Makarov suggested, pushing the subject away.

Gray clicked his tongue and crossed his arms, "Whatever you say. Come on, Yuki." He said, walking out of the door.

Yuki's eyes widened as she scrambled out of the bed, running after Gray's speedy walk. "W-wait!" Yuki yelled, "Don't leave me alone!"

"Walk faster then." Gray chuckled as he watched the female catch up to him, taking in deep, heavy breaths.

"Man you walk fast..." She said, giggling. Gray stared at her smiling face, taking in her features. A small snowflake hair pin was clipped on her hair, matching the few strands of white on her hair. Her clothing consist of a knee length white dress.

Gray arched an eyebrow before staring forward again, saying, "How about we get you some new clothes?" Yuki blinked a few times.

"New clothes?" Gray nodded, looking around the area he is in.

"Come here." Gray smiled softly and grabbed her hand, dragging her into a clothing shop. The sound of tinkling bells rung through their ears as they entered the clothing shop, and there were numbers of clothing of many kinds, including clothing for men.

Yuki gasped with delight, "These are so cute!" She smiled brighter then usual. Gray was happy that he had brought her into the clothing shop, he sat back onto the chair and watched her roam around the shop.

"Ooh! Gray, come here!" Gray walked over to Yuki, and laughed at the sight of it. The clothing she was wearing was a males clothing, which was long, baggy clothing with pictures scripted on it, which was a music note.

"Heh! Why are you laughing!" Yuki pouted as she watched Gray wiped a tear that formed on the edge of his eyes.

"Yuki, that's boy clothing." Gray laughed once more as he watched Yuki gasp.

As Yuki found another pair of clothing and Gray paid for it, they two left the clothing shop, walking to the next destination. "So, where do you want to go?" Yuki gripped the handle of the bag, inside has her old dress.

"Hm..." Just then, the aroma of sweets filled the air, which sends her body into excitement. "Is there a bakery here!" Yuki looked around the whole area, going around circles around Gray as well.

"You're a funny one." Gray said, chuckling. "Yeah, I'll take you there." Gray led Yuki into the bakery, who now jumps up and down excitedly at the sight of cute cakes.

"Gray, look!" Yuki pointed at a small cake, which has a decoration shaped as the Fairy Tail guild mark, "It's Fairy Tail!"

Gray nodded, gazing at the cake as well, "I never knew they create these kinds of cake decorations...' Gray said, slightly amused.

"Can I have it?" Yuki asked politely, waiting for Gray's answer. Gray arched an eyebrow before pulling out his money, checking if he had enough to buy at least one.

"Fine," Gray smiled, "But only one, I can't feed you all day, since I'm loosing jewels."

Yuki smiled widely as she straightened her back, throwing a hug at Gray, "Thank you!" Gray flushed dramatically, while the female shopkeepers giggled.
