Unfrozen Love

~* Chapter 16 *~

"Lucy." Yuki said with a smile.

"Hm?" Lucy turned her head to the side, still feeling the warmth seeping into her skin. "Those your chest still hurt?"

Lucy blinked, but shook her head, "It doesn't hurt anymore." Yuki raise an eyebrow as she listened to Natsu and Gray quarrel.

"Did it heal by itself?" Yuki ask once more.

Lucy shrugged her shoulders, "Ever since Natsu and Wendy drag us into this village, it feels like this magic force was pulled out of me, and my chest started to ease and relax."

"Oh..." Yuki smiled and hooked her arm around hers, saying, "I'm glad your alright." She said, beaming a smile.

Lucy grinned before saying, "By the way, where are we going anyways?"

Yuki halted in her steps, and realized that the two females had been following the two males the whole time. "Um..." Yuki shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know."

"Gray, Natsu!" Lucy yelled, pulling the two males apart from each other.

"WHAT?!" The two yelled at her face.

"Where are we going?!" She yelled back, slightly frightening the two.

Gray and Natsu stood dumbfounded. "Where are we?" Natsu broke the silence, and Lucy mentally face-palmed herself.

"That's what I'm asking you, Natsu! We girls had been following you guys the whole time!"

"Uh... Guys?" Yuki stood behind the three arguing people, staring at the figure walking towards them. The three continued to argue as Yuki started to shake Gray's arm.

"Gray? Gray!" She yelled, now shaking uncontrollably, his words now coming out as a robot voice.

"What is it, Yuki?" Gray questioned as he turned his head towards Yuki, who was pointing a finger behind him.

Gray raise an eyebrow as he turned around, staring at he figure standing before him. "Who are you?" He said, turning around to face the figure.

Natsu stood in a fighting stance as his eyes knitted together, followed by Lucy, who gripped the keys on her belt hoop. "Are you guys the one who accepted this quest along with this red head and blue headed female with two cats?"

"Erza, Wendy, Happy and Carla?" Yuki questioned as she turned her face upwards, staring at Gray's emotionless expression.

"Where are they?" Gray said as he put an arm in front of Yuki, in case if she walks in front of him.

"Come with me. Your two other friends are trying to do the quest alone." the figure commented, "But they got nothing about the evil."

"Wait," Lucy said, "Does this evil thing inside the water park the same as the one in the forest?" The figure nodded, "They both have the same connection, but we have no clue if it is related to the same case."

Natsu stood and sniffed the air, saying, "This guy has a small scent of them, so I think it's safe." Lucy raise an eyebrow, "You think?" Natsu nodded, "This guy also has another scent, completely different the ones I know."

"You don't even know the people in this village..." Lucy sweat dropped. Yuki stepped up, "Bring us to them."

"Gray! Yuki! Natsu! Lushy!" Happy chatted happily before flying upwards, engulfing Yuki into a hug.

"Hey! Where's my hug!" Natsu whined, but grinned as he watched Happy gave him a hug.

"Do you remember them, Natsu?!" Happy yelled, pointing his tiny finger towards Yuki and Gray. Natsu grinned with a nod,

"Yeah! Stripper putted some sort of pill into my mouth!"

"I wasn't the one that gave you the pill, Pinkie!" Gray snapped, raising his fist with a snort.

"Natsu, Gray." Erza bumped their heads, "You both never changed."

Yuki tapped Erza's shoulder as she said, "You might have to give one of these pills of Wendy." Yuki lifted a jar of pills up, and Erza nodded. She took the jar into her hands before walking towards Wendy, who had no clue who Yuki and Gray are.

"Erza-san?" Wendy said, quietly as Erza crouched in front of her, "What are those?"

"Pills." Erza said, popping the lip open before taking one pill out, placing it on top of Wendy's small palm. "Swallow this, you'll remember Yuki and Gray soon."

"Who's Yuki and Gray?" Erza let out a sigh before patting the blue haired girl on the head lightly.

"Just swallow the pill." Wendy looked down to her open palm, staring at the mysterious pill in her hand.

She sniffed the pill, but back away a little at the intense smell. But, she popped the pill into her mouth, swallowing it without ease. "Oh." Yuki raise a finger, "You'll have chest pain for a few minutes."

Wendy's eyes widened as she gripped her chest, stumbling to her knees. "Are you okay?!" Erza grabbed her shoulders, and Wendy squeezed her eyes shut.

"M-my chest..." Yuki watched as the child wheezed, and her chest tightened. She gripped Gray's hand again, not wanting to see anymore pain in her team's faces.

Gray kissed her forehead with a smile, whispering, "It's okay. It'll be over soon." Yuki nodded, but squeezed her eye shut as she listened to Wendy let out a yell.
