Unfrozen Love

~* Chapter 15 *~

The two couples wondered inside the forest and found a new path that leads exactly towards the village. But the air around them was tense and dark, making them feel like something is going to jump at them any minute.

"What did you think happened back there...? When Natsu and Wendy didn't remember us?" Yuki ask Gray, who's hand was wrapped around hers.

Gray shrugged, "Maybe they got caught in some kind of magic without them knowing."

Yuki halted for a moment before looking upwards, staring at the bright blue sky, with only a few clouds hovering over them. "Bright..." She brought her hand upwards over her eyes to shield herself from the bright light.

"Yuki, come on." Gray nudged her hand before pulling her forward again, Yuki stumbled a little, but regained her balance by Gray's strong arm. They walked forward again, and made it to the village's gate.

There was life everywhere, unlike the atmosphere inside the forest. Everyone was bustling around, either selling food, buying food, bidding farewells, etc.

Yuki beamed a smile as she turned her head towards Gray, who seems to be smiling as well. Twist and turned they went, and Yuki was the one leading the way.

"Come on...!" Yuki giggled as Gray stumbled behind her.

"Y-you're running fast!" He regained his balance and ran beside her, now the two running towards the destination.

The two were panting, their feet aching from walking all day. "There...!" Yuki pointed her finger towards a small cafe. Gray clicked his tongue before running forward, Yuki running slowly behind him.

He pushed the cafe door open, his chest heaving air in and out of his lungs. His eyes frantically skimmed the cafe, looking for his certain team. "Oi! One bowl of hot chili please!"

Gray's eyes widened at the familiar voice. "Fire breath." He said, walking towards the table with the pink hair male.

"Hm?" Natsu questioned before looking up, "Who you?"

"What the hell man..." Gray slapped his forehead, "You still don't remember me..." The pink haired male knitted his eyebrows together before standing up, headbutting him.

"You wanna fight?" Natsu growled.

"Hn." Gray closed his eyes with a smirk, "You still have the same stupid personality even though you don't remember me, Pinkie."

"Who you calling a 'Pinkie' Naked Bastard?!" Natsu yelled, sending his fist upwards.

"Gray...!" Yuki burst into the cafe, panting heavily as well. Small drops of sweat rolled down her cheek.

"Good, he's here..." Yuki walked up as she watched Natsu relax his body a little. "Now who are you?" Natsu's confuse face was now shown across his face.

"Gray." Yuki kindly said, "Mind if you held him down a little...?" Gray raise an eyebrow before lifting both hands under Natsu's armpits.

"What the-" Natsu struggled, "What the hell!? Let go of me, naked bastard!"

Yuki pulled out a small jar out of her bag, popping the lid open before taking a pill out. "I"m sorry, Natsu." Yuki's eyebrows were facing opposite of each other, "You'll have to endure this pain a little..."

Natsu's mouth was still open at the yelling, which brought a whole lot of attention inside the cafe, also outside the cafe. Yuki quickly threw the pill inside his mouth.

Then, silence filled the room again. "... Cherry?" Natsu chewed as he stopped struggling. As the lump on his throat rise from swallowing the pill, his chest ached in pain.

Gray released his grip as he watched Natsu fall to his knees, gripping his chest. "W-what the hell...?!" Natsu squeezed his eyes in pain.

"What did you make him eat?" Gray ask Yuki.

Yuki held up a jar of colored pills, "I bought these from a magic shop nearby. It seems that the shop owner of that store knows about the forest."

"The forest we were just in...?" Gray asked again. Yuki nodded. "Yeah, there was a myth that dragon slayers get amnesia, while other normal people get chest pain. And this pill can get a dragon slayer his memories back."

Natsu rolled across the floor, sweat rolling down his temple. "Natsu!" the sound of a female voice sounded as the door opened. "Are you okay?!"

"Lucy...?" Yuki gasped.

Lucy scooped Natsu's head onto her lap, "Hey, Natsu! Are you okay?!"

"L-lucy...!" Natsu grip his chest in pain again.

"What did you do to him-" Lucy stopped mid sentence at the familiar faces, and tears started to well up inside her eyes.

"Gray...? Yuki...?" Yuki's eyes widened, Gray's eyes widened as well. Lucy settled Natsu's head down again, standing up before engulfing both Gray and Yuki into a large, tight hug, "I can't believe it! It's really you guys!"

Yuki's eyes teared up, and she returned the hug. "Where are the others?" Gray ask her.

"They were suppose to meet Natsu and I here." Lucy said, wiping the tears off her cheek.

Then, Gray's face was punched as a fist collided with him. "F*** YOU STUPID STRIPPER! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MY CHEST HURTS?!"

Yuki giggled as she yelled, "Natsu!"

"WHAT THE HELL, FIRE BREATH?! I SAVED YOU AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!?!" Gray headbutted Natsu's forehead, "Well, thank you Stripper!" Sarcasm in Natsu's voice, "Now that I remember you, I'll have to give you a beating for your freak-in reward!"

"This..." Lucy pointed her finger at them, "Is going to be a while..."
