~* Chapter 26 *~

"What are you guys going here?" Natsu questioned, his eyebrow raised.

"We're here to exterminate the dark guild." Jellal answered, his eyes still furrowed, "It's been a while... Erza."

Erza nodded, adverting her gaze back to Natsu. "Did you say that Ultear is with Gray right now?" Natsu nodded, but Jellal interrupted soon after.

"It's okay, tell Ultear to hold fire."

"Hold fire?" Natsu questioned.

"What do you mean by hold fire?" Lucy questioned.

"She's going to explode the guild." Meredy said, with determination on her face.

"What?!" Lucy and Natsu yelled, unexpected by the sudden response. "Happy and Carla are still in there!" Natsu yelled, his eyes furrowing.

Just before he was about to beat the living hell out of the wizard, a yell rung through his ears, "Natsu!"

His head shot towards the noise, and his lips twitched into a grin, "Happy!" Happy flew towards him, and engulfed Natsu into his tiny paws. "Where were you, buddy?" Natsu said, hugging the small blue exceed back.

"Me and Carla went lost because I said that we should walk a bit farther away from you guys so you two can have some privacy..." Happy answered, his head hung down, "But Jellal and Meredy found us!"

Natsu grinned, but Happy continued, "And then Jellal started asking me about Erza like... How is she, is she alright, did she get a boy-" Then, the exceeds lips were covered by the blue haired male, who was blushing from the sudden outburst.

"I told you not to tell them." Jellal said, removing his hand away from Happy's mouth.

"-friend." Happy finished his sentence with a sigh, not expecting him to hold in his breath that long.

"So, Ultear is going to explode the guild up?" Carla questioned, looking around the area, "Where's Wendy?" Erza answered her question, not knowing the longing glance from the blue haired male.

Lucy blinked, but grinned mischievously, "So... Jellal." She said, standing beside him as she watched Jellal stare at Erza, "Why don't you just toughen up and ask her out already?"

Jellal snapped his head towards Lucy, who was grinning like an idiot, and Meredy laughed behind the background. "What are you saying?" Jellal planted on his blank expression, but his eyes deceived him.

"You know what I'm saying." Lucy said, snapping her fingers towards Happy, "Say it, Happy."

"You like her~" Happy rolled his tongue, and Lucy smirked at the males cheeks, which flared up slowly.

"Like hell I'm going to do that." Jellal said, his eyes then adverted downwards, "I.. told her I have a fiancee."

"She can read you like an open book." Meredy said. Jellal then blinked.

"Well then." Meredy turned her head to Lucy, giving her a nod. Lucy return the nod before placing a hand on Jellal's shoulder, Meredy doing the same.

"Jellal." Meredy said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Toughin' up..." Lucy tightened her grip.

"And ask her out!" the two females yelled before pushing the poor male towards the scarlet haired female, who both stumbled at each other before falling down.

Natsu started laughing as he pointed a finger at the poor couple-to-be people, who both blushed from ear to ear at the closeness. "Oi, Natsu!" Gray's voice echoed in his head, Natsu can hear panting on the other side, "What are you laughing about!"

"Jellal fell on top of Erz- AAHHH!" Natsu screamed and hid behind Lucy and Meredy, him trying to hide from the deadly glare from Titania, her about to unleash her swords.

Then, he head laughing on his head. "Man, tell me the details!"

"No time for that, Gray." Ultear said, running by his side, "We need to get to every floor and insert each bomb." She ran up the stairs before placing a quick bomb on the stair, which flashed the color red.

"Duck." She said, pressing a button. The staircase exploded. Gray yelped as he ran faster.

"Say that sooner!" He yelled at the dark haired female, who smiled softly.

"I did say it sooner." She answered, "About that necklace..." She faced forward, "Are you sure your going to stay away from her forever?" Gray adverted his gaze downwards.

"I prefer to die than stay away from her forever. But dying just makes it worse." He grip the necklace, trying to freeze it once more, "So my only choice is to stay alive, not to let anybody harm Yuki."

Ultear smiled, "It must be painful... Staying away from your love one..." her heart clenched, she wished to see her mother's face again, "If only I hadn't made that many mistakes..."

Gray watched her back, but smiled. "Let's get out of here, this is the last stop." Gray threw a bomb on the wall, and it stuck there like glue. Gray grab Ultear's arm before jumping out the window, the guild exploding into pieces.
