Unfrozen Love

~* Chapter 4 *~

Gray was lead into the guest room. The room was very fancy, with a queen size bed, a walk in closet and a walk in window (like the windows which you can walk out and walk back in), and the room has a fair amount of space, space that can fit around 3 elephants.

Just as Gray was admiring the view around his room, he turned around, but didn't see anyone there but a click of the door. Gray narrowed his eyes before taking a step towards the door, slowly placing his hand over the door knob.

Locked.

He clicked his tongue. He should have known. The kindness from the King, the suspicious behavior from the many butlers and maids, and also the easy access to the kingdom. This was all set up.

"Ice make..." Gray furrowed his eyes, "Hammer!" A hammer crashes onto the door, but the hammer made out of ice was thrown back at him, causing him to jump out of the way. "What the hell." Gray clicked his tongue, then heard a scream.

"Get away for me!"

Gray's eyes widened at the familiar yell that echoed throughout the whole guest room. "Stop struggling! We need you to get to the meeting place or the king will get killed!"

"No!" Yuki yelled. Gray gritted his teeth before placing a ear on the wall on the side of the guest room, hearing the sound louder than usual. As he took a few steps back, he formed a fist, slamming it onto his open palm.

"Ice Make: Bazooka!" A large weapon was placed on his shoulder, and he pulled the trigger, breaking the wall of his room. A cloud of dust rose upwards, but slowly descended, revealing a guard with armor, gripping the females wrist.

"Gray!" Tears welled up inside her eyes, but was forcefully dragged. "No!" She was pulled out of the room by the guard.

"Yuki!" Gray yelled before running after them.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" The hyper-active idiot's voice roared through the hallways, and the heat behind Gray started to heat up. "Holy crap!" Gray yelled before running faster, sensing the fire behind him zooming closer and closer to him.

"DAMN YOU, PINK-HAIRED IDIOT!" Gray yelled before turning the corner, just in time as the tip of Gray's hair was burned slightly by the fire. "Hot!" Gray patted his hair rapidly, even freezing his hair from the terrible burning sensation.

Then, Natsu turned around the corner as well, but his face was met with a fist. "OUCH!" Natsu yelled as he rubbed the red punch mark on his face, "What the hell, bastard!? Why'd you do that for?!"

Gray growled before stomping towards Natsu, "You almost burned me alive, you fire breathing idiot! You even made me lose sight of Yuki!" Natsu held up a finger, but his finger slowly dropped by the words 'Loose sight.'

"Oh..." Natsu said with pure realization.

Gray gritted his teeth once more before walking past his rival, heading towards the hall he had last seen Yuki. "Oi, Gray!" Natsu yelled, running up to him, "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to look for Yuki." Gray answered plainly before looking at the ground, staring at the faint sole marks on the ground.

"We won't be able to find her in time if we keep searching this stupidly ginormous Kingdom! Even my nose is killing me!"

"Then I'll look for her by sense of hearing, sight, and feel." Gray said before turning around another corner, "Even if it took me days to find her, I'll never stop."

Natsu halted in his steps, not knowing that he was ignoring Gray's last sentence. "What are you doing, fire breath?" Gray said before turning his head slightly to the side, watching Natsu rooted to the ground.

"There's a sound of water..." Natsu's voice was quiet as he listened to the running water, "There's a river around her somewhere..."

Gray arched an eyebrow, "A river?"

Natsu nodded before walking to the nearest wall, sniffing, "Salt water." Natsu commented before firing up his fist, slamming it onto the wall in front of him.

As the wall crumbled down to the ground, an unexpected sight lays before them. A large wide river was running over the kingdom, the insides of the area was dark, like a cave.

The echoes of yells and screams sounded, which brought both of the males attention. "Let's go." Gray quickened his steps before briefly running into the area, followed by the Dragon Slayer behind him.

"So..." A male voice echoed around the cave, which seems to be dangerously close to the two scrambling males. Gray and Natsu both hid behind a large rock, their hearts beating hard, "This is the girl who needs a soul mate?"

Gray's ears perked up, "Yes, this is the girl who needs a soul m-mate..." The quivering tone of the king's voice sounded.

Then, a small scoff was followed, "She's pretty, I give you that."

Then, the sound of tinkling coins were sounded, and then was followed by a small squeak. "Here's your money, I'm taking the girl. Don't tell anyone about what happened, especially to that half naked guy."

'Half naked...' Gray can feel anger bubbling up inside him, and the air around him was getting tense. Colder and colder it become. His eyes were under the shadows as he stepped out of his hiding place, Natsu standing beside him.

Yuki's eyes widened at the familiar sight of the Fairy Tail mage. "Gray!" She yelled, but panicked as she watched the impostor's head turned towards the two males.

The two male's eyes widened at the familiar face, and only Natsu manage to gather his voice. "Sting and Rogue of Sabertooth..."
