"Yuki! Open the f*cking door now!" Gray yelled, banging his fist onto the door of Yuki's rented room. There was no answer, and the silence is getting on his nerves.

"YUKI!" Gray formed a fist as he yelled, "Ice Make: HAMMER!" The door crashed open, and Gray ran into the house, but met with the landowner of the rented house.

"What the hell did you do to the room!" The angry landowner yelled, her eyes widen at the broken door. Gray took a glance inside the room, but didn't see anyone there.

But something caught his eye. A letter was placed on top of the bedside, and was addressed to him. His eyes widened as he ran towards the letter, snatching it before reading it.

"Hey! Young man, you better get out of this house right now!" The landowner yelled with a broom stick in hand. His eyes skimmed downer in the letter, and his eyes widened.

"Crap." He cursed before throwing the letter to the side, running out of the room after apologizing to the landowner. "Move!" He yelled, running through the streets with high speed.

"Damn it, Yuki. Damn it, damn it... Damn it!" He cursed, and it's been a while since he had cursed this badly. He ran out of Magnolia town and ran onto the dirt road, not bothering to say hi to his major guild members.

He never stopped, not even for a brief moment. Sweat rolled down the corner of his eyes, and heat started to radiate off his bare skin. His panting deepened, and his heart rate sped up.

Just before he knew it, cold wind blew at his skin, sending shivers down his spine. "I'm back here again..." He stared at the familiar mountains from his quest a few months ago.

The quest which led him to Yuki.

He clicked his tongue before running full speed again, towards the last mountain he had last saw. 'you shall bring her love and happiness for the year...' The carvings lingered behind his head, and he can't shake it off.

'if you succeed.'

'You have to find her a soul mate within a year, or she'll freeze up again for another guardian.'

Gray skidded across the snow floor and turned around another corner, taking in heavy breaths.

'I can't believe that today is the last day...' He thought, 'Damn it...' Gray ran faster, picking up his speed before running on the last trail he needs to take.

Just then, the familiar figure of the female stood outside the broken cave, her hair waving from the wind. He can feel relief inside him, but shattered as he watched the tears run down her delicate cheek.

"Yuki..." He breathed, startling her.

"Gray...?" She questioned, staring him in the eye. The white strands of hair on her hair expanded, and at least the top half of her layers of hair was pure white, like snow.

Gray gasp from lack of air, but he took a few steps forward, which turned into a slow speed walk. "Gray... What are you-" her sentence was cut off as he flung his arms around her waist, engulfing her into a hug.

"Rascal..." He muttered, stuffing his face on her neck, "Why'd you leave me alone..." Yuki was in a loss of words, but slowly wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Times was almost up..." Yuki answered, her eyes filling with sadness, "And I still didn't find my soul mate..." Gray tightened his grip around her waist, causing her to gasp a little.

"Stupid..." Gray said again, "I know who your soul mate is."

Yuki's eyes widened, "Who is it?" Gray closed his eyes, pulling himself away from her.

Gray smirked before leaning on her ear, with a husky voice, he said, "His name..." He paused before planting his lips on her, shocking her, "is Gray Fullbuster."

Yuki stared into his eyes, but smiled brightly as she flung her arms around his neck, laughing with tears running down her cheeks, tears of joy. Back at the guild, inside the infirmary, the chunk of ice melted slowly, but broken up into the chunks of ice and both formed this one shape.

A shape of a heart.
