"Gru!"

Silence filled the entire room. This is quite unnatural considering the fact, that he always responds. I swiftly moved towards the drawer, hauling the baseball bat out that I always keep for. I don't know, protection.

Clasping the bat, I made myself ready to strike, The sound came from my bedroom. So, I took my steps carefully in order to not make any noise.

I gave a sigh of relief when I found that the vase that I kept near the window fell down,

wind.

Obviously but where's Gru.

I wore my pajamas and my t-shirt quickly and started calling him.
To my surprise, he was sleeping in his couch peacefully.

Relief.

At least one of us gets to sleep peacefully.

3:00 am, I am still awake. I decided to read a book to spend my time.

The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, This book was attracting for long now, never got time to dive into it. So I decided to give it a try.

After reading 150 pages, I checked the time. It was 4:00 am. Just a few hours and then it's over. I closed my eyes for a moment to rest my gazes.

"Carmen!"

A voice as low as whisper was perceived by my ears.

Suddenly my surrounding started to convert into some other place. I was sitting in a garden filled with roses.

No one was around me but still, I could hear someone say.

"Carmen!"

I started looking for the owner of the voice.

"Carmen."

I turned around and jerked away.
It was him. He stood there staring and smiling at me with his gorgeous emerald green eyes and his pale pink lips.

"You scared me."

I said taking a deep breath. He came forward and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I didn't mean to startle you, Carmen."

He answered running his hand through my brown hair.

"Then what were you trying to do."

"I was just playing with my precious little wife."

Both of us began to laugh. He slowly pulled me closer and gently placed his lips on my neck.

"What are you doing?"

I asked laughing. He didn't answer. His kisses seemed soft and gentle at the beginning but then it started to cause a little discomfort.

"Stop you are hurting me."

I said trying to push him away but his grip was strong.

"I said stop."

I finally pushed him off. His mouth was covered with blood, my blood. I looked at him with my eyes wide open. Horror smeared over my face.

His gorgeous smile changed into sinister one. He took out a cloth from his pocket and wiped his mouth. He started taking his steps forwards.

"Stop!"

My words didn't seem to have any reaction on him. I started taking my steps backward.

"Don't be afraid of me, Carmen."

He said, I swirled around and tried to run, but he stood in front of me. I began to panic, He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.

"Can't let you leave so easily. I have got orders." His other hand rested on side of my neck, his veins started to appear under his eyes.

"Don't do this." I wailed. He leaned his head towards my neck, and within a seconds, I felt his fangs dug into my neck as he began drinking my blood.

"Stop!"

"Stop!"

I gasped up from my bed. My face was wet with sweat. Throwing the book down, I placed a hand over my face. Gru came running towards my room.

It wasn't the first time that I was seeing this kind of thing. Every time I close my eyes, I see terrible sights. I see myself in some ancient period, people hurting me, people killing me. I don't like it at all.

I checked my phone it was 7:20 am.

"It's time for your walk."

I said and Gru shook his head just like a normal human being.

°°°

When I opened the door, I found the box still there but the thing that's weird is there was another note just beside the note I had left.

"I don't think it's a wrong address."

Okay. This is really annoying and creepy. Who is this person? This person called me yesterday. I have enough problems and now here is another one.

I decided to not go for a walk as I was totally freaked out.

°°°

Today was Sunday and laid down on the bed looking towards the ceiling in my lazy Sunday afternoon mood.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. That's weird. Nobody comes to meet me at this period of time.

Gru started to bark.

"Calm down."

I said and walked towards the door, I turned the knob, to open it.

There was a small girl with a bouquet in her hand.
