49|Days of Past
For a few seconds, I guessed I have failed once again, but then My lips spread into a huge smile when I saw the puddle of water separating into a few drops. I moved my fingers in a pattern. The drops gradually raised from the surface and hanged in the air.
"See, I told you. I reckon I should serve as a teacher. "
"Absolutely." I laughed,
“You are going to marry Alex after all this. Right?” He asked almost abruptly.
I stared at him for few moments. His face said that he was waiting for an answer. “I don't know.” I scoffed, “Why are you asking me this?”
“Because I wanted to tell you that he loves you a lot. You do realize that you changed him, right?” He gazed at me with amusement. “-if you had your memories, we would have both agreed on the fact, that he was a dick.”
“Why? Was he bad?”
“Bad. Use nasty.” He said. “-he was selfish. Even selfish than I am. ” I gave an uneasy smile. ‘He was a bad person.’ “-no offense, I thought you would be just another girl but then I realized you meant a lot to him. When he gave up his only chance to retire from this post. Just because he couldn't imagine settling with anyone else rather than you.”
I blushed, Alexander gave up his chance to live a peaceful life because of me. I mean imagining from what they are saying. Fighting demons every day is something I will regard as a delicate job. I reckon every guardian waited eagerly for this day. “Why did you not retire?” I asked,
He gave another smile, “I don't know. It just didn't feel right to retire without him. I mean I grew up with him, leaving him all of a sudden would have driven me crazy. After all, he is my one and only brother.”
Isn't he so adorable? I couldn't help but smile.

Isn't such a lovely entity. We fight, but then again we can't imagine it stay without them.
All this time, the water drops were wandering in the air. Unexpectedly the door slammed opened, my concentration, went back to being a pool of water,
"We have bought the herbs and What the hell were you two doing." I heard Alexander's voice, While I was still looking at the surface. 'How come I didn't know I could manipulate water.'
"So, Miss. You ready." Lily inquired with an encouraging smile over her face, I turned towards her and gave a little nod. 'It's going to hurt a lot, Abrianna. Brace yourself.' I informed myself, advancing towards the chair.
I started taking deep breaths, as I sat down, Alexander came towards me, getting down to his knees, He clutched my hand and muttered, "If it's hurt a lot, just say it, okay?” He kissed my knuckles. Just looking at him made me feel safe. Who could deny the love of such a man, who cares for you these deeply.
