I sat on my bed with arms and legs folded as I cried.

"Mai could've died for me. She could've have fucking died for my foolishness."

"How can I be so foolish!"

The phone buzzed once again. I turned towards rubbing the tears off my eyes.

Stop crying! Just stop crying!

I left the phone in my bedroom and went straight towards the bathroom to have a good bath.

°°°

I heard the door bell ring as I sat in the bathtub resting my head on the wall.

'Who could it be? Is it another box?'

I ignored the door bell and to my surprise it kept on ringing. This was quite unusual. I grabbed my bathing rob and wore it quickly.

When I came out, the door bell wasn't ringing anymore and there was a unusual silence. I crept towards the door and pressed my ears on it's surface.

"Who's this?"

There wasn't any answer. My heart began to beat faster. I tried to look outside through the keyhole.

"Looking for someone."

I gasped when I heard a familiar voice call out to me from behind.

I turned around.

Relief.

It was Mai, but how did she get in here.

She pushed me towards the door with an unnatural strength that was the moment I realized it was a dream. My head collided with the surface of door. If it is a dream why does the pain feels so real. I fell down, my eyes rested at her feet.

She grabbed my neck, pinning me to the surface of the door.

“Mai, what are you doing?”

"You can't stay away from us. We will find you and haunt you till you take your last breath."

"What do you mean?"

I said trying to escape her grip, slapping her hand. She once again hit my head on the door.

"You will know."

She took a knife and stabbed me. I saw the blood dripping from my abdomen turning my white rob into red.

I gasped opening my eyes. It was another fucking nightmare. I kept and hand over my head. I felt like killing myself.

'Just because of that son of a bitch. I will have to face this shit.'

°°°

"How are you?"

"Cool!"

Mai answered resting her head on Carlton's shoulder. She had a bandage wrapped around her head. I was glad that she was alright or else I would have blamed myself forever.

"What about you? You don't look okay to me."

She asked looking concerned. I couldn't tell her what I was going through, It's creepy and no one would believe me either.

"What do you mean?"

"You have dark circles under your eyes. Didn't you sleep last night? Abrianne, are you okay?"

I didn't know what to say. I turned my gaze away from her and for the first time I felt lucky when their door bell rang interrupting our conversation.

"I think he's here."

Carlton said and went towards the door. Mai nodded.

'Wait.. Who's here.' I looked at Mai raising my eyebrows.

"Hey! Mr. Carlton. D. Michael."

I heard a someone say. Now who's that. I looked towards the door.

"Hello, Mr. Alexander Lucan Chambers."

Carlton greeted back. Suddenly Mai touched my hand, making my heart escape from my chest.

"Woah! Relax it's me."

I smiled at her. Meanwhile Carlton came with his friend.

"Alexander! Meet my love, Mai Henka."

Mai blushed and I felt like a idiot sitting in between their conversation. I pressed my lips before informing about my departure but was interrupted by Carlton.

"And this is our sweet and neighbor Abrianne."

I smiled at him. He was a tall man with fair skin, a broad chest, emerald green eyes, and brown hair.

"He is moving in with us."

Mai said looking at me as if She expected me to be jealous. I didn't know how to react, I just nodded.

"I should go, Gru must be hungry."

°°°

I decided to go through the old stuff that I brought with me to this apartment.

I bought a lot of books that I was left to read and among those books. I found something strange. It was a diary.
