Claws in my heart (TigerStar x reader)

~•Chapter 18•~

Two sunrises had passed since TigerStar became leader of ShadowClan, the clan was drained from hunting and patrolling the territory. You were on your third hunting patrol today.

As you were going around the territory with SandStorm, FireHeart and CloudPaw. You had just caught a mouse until something caught your eye, you lifted your head up to see a carcass of a rabbit, mangled full of mud and leaves. You looked around to see if anyone from the hunting patrol was around.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" You called, SandStorm heard you and padded over. 

"Y/W/N, what's wrong?" She mewed, you looked down at the rabbit and she followed your gaze. "Who did this?"

You shrugged, "I don't know, I found it like this," you responded, "however I don't think a cat killed it, they would of taken it back to camp." Just then FireHeart and CloudPaw appeared.

"What's this?" He meowed as he looked down at the carcass.

"A rabbit, but it couldn't of been a cat," you sighed, FireHeart sniffed the mangled creature.

"Smells like a dog," FireHeart mewed, he then sniffed the air, "specking of which it smells like dogs around here."

You and SandStorm also sniffed around, "yeah your right," you spoke, SandStorm nodded in agreement.

CloudPaw stares at the rabbit then looked at his mentor, "we should tell BlueStar!"
FireHeart nodded and went back to camp, will the patrol following close. You picked up your catch and caught up with them.

You placed your prey on the pile whilst FireHeart went to tell BlueStar, it wasn't long until he came out of the leader's den, with a worried expression on his face.

You walked up to him, "what did she say?" He sighed and looked at you.

"She thinks that WindClan did it, thinking that their stealing prey."

You rolled your eyes, "this is going to lead into an argument, and possibly a fight!" You snapped, FireHeart nodded.

"The next Gathering is apparently coming around."

You shook your head, "I think she will go to the clan herself, there still a bit of time before the next gathering."

Somehow FireHeart helped stop the fight between ThunderClan and WindClan and now after a moon, there was another Gathering. You were talking to DarkStripe as you were walking to the Gathering. "Do you think TigerStar will be there?" DarkStripe meowed. You rolled your eyes.

"Of course he will be there, you stupid fur ball!" You hissed.

DarkStripe flattened his ears, but immediately perked them up and looked back at you, "you know, TigerStar wants to see you tonight."

You gave him a suspicious look, "how do you know and why?"

"One I just know and two he didn't tell me." You were about to complain however you arrived at FourTrees and DarkStripe darted away to talk to some of the ShadowClan warriors. You sighed to yourself and sat next to the entrance of FourTrees.

You looked up at the great rock and noticed TigerStar, he was looking over at all the cats at FourTrees, his eyes laid upon you and he smiled warmly and nodded a greeting, you nodded back, wondering why he was being so nice.

The leaders were getting ready to speak until you noticed that Crookedstar wasn't here, but LeopardFur was on the Great rock.

The only important news was that Crookedstar has died from GreenCough and LeopardFur was the new leader, the other leaders just said that prey was running well, like always.
