Claws in my heart (TigerStar x reader)

~•Chapter 6•~

You were out hunting, trying to forget what TigerClaw did. Taking FirePaw away from being your apprentice...

I can't believe that even BlueStar agreed with him.

You heard a rustle from some of the few fallen leaves, and saw a bushy tail of a squirrel. Dropping into a hunters crouch, you crept towards it. As you were about you jump and kill it. A large tabby pelt flew pass, taking your prey.

You slowly got up to see it was TigerClaw who caught the squirrel, growling in annoyance you padded up to him, "what the hell TigerClaw is that was my catch!"

"I know but I wanted to catch it for you~," He purred, causing you to roll your eyes.

"I can catch my own prey," You hissed.

"Aww come on Y/W/N, I thought we were friends~," he cooed. This caused a faint blush to appear on your face.

"Y-yes I guess we are, l-let's rest up at camp because tonight's the gathering," you murmured, swiftly licking your chest fur.

"I knew you would forgive me quickly," the large Tabby meowed.

It was time for the gathering, you were padding beside TigerClaw, his apprentice in front, walking slowly. "Come on RavenPaw, hurry up!" TigerClaw hissed, the small apprentice jumped slightly and quickened his pace.

"Why are you so hard on RavenPaw?" You murmured, looking into TigerClaw eyes, he just shrugged.

"I want him to be a great warrior, BlueStar gave him to me so he could hopefully become more confident," he hissed.

Once you arrived at the gathering you saw that RiverClan and ShadowClan were here, but there was no sign of WindClan. Strange.

You sat with TigerClaw as he told some story with a few other warriors from other clans. To be honest you didn't really listen in since the story was about the fight with RiverClan's deputy. Finally the gathering was about to start, you sat close to the front with TigerClaw sitting beside you.

Brokenstar was about to speak until other clan cats around you complained, asking were WindClan was. He silence the cats below him and went on, "our kits are better at surviving then yours, with many mouths to feed, and in order to survive we need to increase our hunting territory. That's why I want the RiverClan and ThunderClan warriors to allow my warriors to hunt in your territory."

Once the ugly cat finished, the crowed erupted into shocked but muttered Growls. "That's insane," you hissed loudly, " we should never share our hunting grounds!" Other cats yowled in agreement. The ShadowClan leader hissed at you violently, causing TigerClaw to snap back standing in front of you, trying to protect you. After the crowd settled your best friend sat back down beside you.

Brokenstar rambled on, "WindClan failed to see and understand, so we were forced to drive them out!" More yowls of outrage, frustration overwhelming you. You were about to stand up and leap at the ShadowClan Leader before TigerClaw place his tail on your back, but kept his angry gaze at Brokenstar.

Crookedstar then stepped up, "I have already agreed that ShadowClan can hunt in our territory." The RiverClan cats yowled in disbelief. You sighed quietly.

"Is everything alright?" TigerClaw asked you, a look of concern emitted  from his eyes.

"Y-yes I just want to go back to camp," you muttered. TigerClaw suddenly placed his tail on yours, trying to intertwine his tail with yours. Your hears heated up but you said nothing.

After BlueStar denied that she has any agreement with ShadowClan's leader, Brokenstar gave warning, about a mangy ShadowClan cat who might put kits in danger. Your clan mates shared uneasy glances.

After the gathering the Clan quickly got back, to make sure Yellowfang didn't do anything to the kits. You were worrying, if GoldenFlower's kit was in danger or any kit for that matter you would protect them from that fleabag. Of course BlueStar kept her in camp...

It was early dawn, you thought that BlueStar would make Yellowfang leave, but no she kept her in your camp. Near the kits. You yawned quietly and got up for some Fresh-Kill, you picked up the squirrel that TigerClaw caught. Then at that moment he cane padding towards you. "Do you want to share this squirrel?" You mewed politely. The large Tom nodded and smiled lightly. No cats could really see or get to TigerClaw's soft side, but for you, it was easy.

You padded towards a shaded place and crouched down, TigerClaw followed your actions and you both tucked into the squirrel. "So are you doing anything today?" You asked, taking a bit of your squirrel.

TigerClaw nodded, swallowing a bite, "yeah I'm going with BlueStar to the MoonStone. We're also taking FirePaw, GreyPaw and RavenPaw."

Once you both finished the squirrel TigerClaw washed his paws, "well I better get going, I'll see you later~" he mewed gently, giving you a swift lick on the cheek. Before you could reply, he walked away to were BlueStar was Waiting.

It felt like moons since TigerClaw and the Others left. You were bored, as you were laying down on the grass, soaking up the suns warmth, you felt something trod on your tail, you looked up and saw SwiftKit attacking your Tail, "SwiftKit I told you not to bother anyone," you heard GoldenFlower's voice from the nursery. She padded over and looked down at SwiftKit.

"It's ok GoldenFlower, he wasn't doing anything." You mewed, looking down at the mischievous kit and smiled.

GoldenFlower shook her head vigorously, "I just don't want him bothering anyone, however it's feeding time anyways." The Golden She-cat picked up the small kit and padded away.

Strange, she felt a bit distant towards me...

Suddenly yowls of cats ripples through the clan, you leaped up looking around to see many warriors fighting.

"Oh no, ShadowClan!"
