After the storm, the people in Royaume Kingdom came to the shore for a clean up.
A young eight -year old boy was by the rocks picking up the trashes. He's as pale as now and his hair was as black as night that matched his complexion perfectly. Yoongi Min wasn't like any other children. He didn't like to socialize with the other children. He was shy too approach anyone.
As Yoongi was cleaning, he heard a cry. He stopped cleaning and looked around, then heard the cry again. He saw a cave to his left and walked towards it. The cry was getting louder as he went closer. Yoongi stopped in front of the cave and put his things down before slowly going inside.

"H-Hello?" Yoongi stuttered as he looked inside the cave.
He heard a breath hitched and a splash followed by a whimper. Yoongi slowly stepped in the cave and looked around.
At the end of the cave was dark, he saw some seaweeds dangling on the rocks. He kept on going until he felt something hit his leg.
He jumped in surprise. He quickly looked down to see a net. Yoongi sighed in relief and bent down to pick it up. Yoongi tugged it and a sound of whimpering came out of the blue. He stopped at what he was doing and looked up to see a figure in the dark. He looked back down at the net in his hand, then, back at the figure before tugging it again.
The figure yelped and fell forward. When the mysterious figure fell into the light, the human body gasped as he saw a boy about his age. His hair was curly and blond with a few golden hair strands glistening in the sunlight.
Yoongi continued staring at the mysterious boy and then, trailed his eyes down and gasped when he saw a golden tail shining. He looked back at the boy's face and noticed that he had faint Gill marks on the sides of his neck.
"A mermaid." Yoongi mumbled.
He saw the merboy looking terrified and noticed he was tangled in a net. Yoongi took a step forward to the merboy with his hand out. The scared merboy scrambled backward but suddenly stopped and hissed in pain.
"D-Don't worry." Yoongi stuttered as he slowly walked toward the merboy. "I'm not going to hurt you. I promise."
He slowly took out his dagger from its sheathe. The merboy saw it and scrambled back while clutching his side.
"I won't kill you." Yoongi said softly as he walked slowly toward the merboy. "I am going to free you from the net."
The human boy took another step and slowly bent down in front of him, he held the net and cut it.
While Yoongi was too busy cutting the net, the merboy looked at him in awe and confusion.
Once Yoongi finished cutting the net, he threw it aside. He looked back at the merboy and noticed blood dripping on his torso where the merboy clutched it. He slowly reached out to his hand but the merboy flinched away while looking at him with gawked coffee eyes in fear.
"You're bleeding." Yoongi said softly, staring at those coffee eyes. "Let me treat your wound."
The merboy pondered at first and then, he hesitantly lowered his hand - his palm covered with his blood.
A wave came inside the cave and hit his wound making the merboy yelped in pain and clutched his bleeding torso- trying to prevent another wave from hitting his wound.
Yoongi gasped and quickly carried him. The merboy yelped and out of reflex, circled his chubby arms around the human boy's neck. Yoongi set him down on a big rock - his torso exposed fully. He quickly ripped the Hem of his shirt and wrapped it around his bleeding torso, then, tying it into a knot (not too tight).
"There." Yoongi said with a smile of satisfaction at the wrapped torso.
He then looked up at the merboy. "I guess you have to stay here a few days until your wound is healed." Yoongi said. "The sea is salty, you know. So the pain will be unbearable."
The merboy just stared at him.
"You mustn't move too much." Yoongi said. "So that it will be less painful, okay?" In response, the merboy nodded slowly.
Yoongi sat beside him and stuck his hand out. "I'm Yoongi." The merboy looked at his hand and then, back at him, then, back at his hand before he took it with his both small hands and kissed his knuckles.
Yoongi gasped and quickly withdrew his hand back making the merboy flinched.
"That's not how you greet." Yoongi said.
The merboy looked at him, confused. "B-but... T-that's h-how we g-greet the r-royals." The merboy stuttered.
"Are you a prince or something?" Yoongi asked.
The golden-tailed boy fidgeted for awhile and nodded shyly. "I-I am."
Yoongi nodded with his eyes in awe. "Oh. Then nice to meet you...." Yoongi trailed off and the merboy realized he didn't tell his name.
"O-Oh! I'm J-Jimin, p-prince of Southern Alcyoneum." The merboy named Jimin said with a shy smile. "A-and.... T-thank you f-for saving m-me and also.... N-not k-killing me."
Yoongi smiled at him which made Jimin blush. "No problem, not all humans are bad." The human boy replied and slowly reached out to pet his curly blond hair.
Jimin just looked at Yoongi with big eyes and blushed cheeks.
' He's so cute like a baby seal.' Yoongi thought.
"YOONGI! WHERE ARE YOU?"
Both of the boys jumped and looked at the mouth of the cave to see the sky turned yellow.
"Oh, it's already sunset." Yoongi said.
Jimin looked at him wide eyes. "E-who was that?" He asked.
"My mom."
Yoongi jumped off the rock. He looked back at Jimin. "I'll see you tomorrow, Jimin." He said and waved at him.
Jimin smiled at him shyly and waved back. "Bye." He replied softly.
Yoongi started to walked towards the mouth of the cave.
"Wait, Yoongi!"
Yoongi stopped and turned to Jimin.
Jimin looked down and fidgeted his fingers. "C-can we be friends?"
Yoongi's eyes widened. He felt his heart thumped and his cheeks became warmer.
"Oh... Uh... Yeah, sure." He said and smiled shyly.
Jimin looked back at him and smiled his closed eye smile. Yoongi smiled back with his gummy smile before he walked out of the cave.
