VII. Kidnap

10 years later

In the southern side of Korallia, there was a kingdom - that was also surrounded with colorful corals. Peculiar sea creatures hiding in there; clown fishes swam through the sea anemones and rays gracefully swam - hovering the beautiful scenery as they passed by.

"Jungkook! Come back here!" A twenty - three year old merman named, Jimin hollered as he chased the younger red tailed boy, Jungkook.

Jungkook was the son of one of the generals of Alcyoneum and only two years younger than him. However, the red haired boy was a troublemaker.

"Catch me if you can, midget!" Jungkook replied as he swam fast and clutching the shell necklace.

Jimin groaned and swam faster.

Just then, Jungkook was about to pass by the giant boulder but suddenly, got caught in the waist by a pair of arms around his waist.

The younger looked back to see the blue haired merman named, Taehyung.

"Kookie, I was looking for you." He said and loosened his grip around his waist.

Taehyung was the prince of the north of Korallia, Oceanus and the same age as Jimin but younger than him. He was also Jungkook's fiance.

"Hello, Taehyungie!" Jungkook greeted with his signature bunny smile and hugged him.

"You're making fun of Jimin, aren't you?" He asked as he spotted the shell necklace on Jungkook's hand.

"Well, I'm bored." Jungkook shrugged.

Jimin came and snatched the necklace from his grasp. He glared at Jungkook - who laughed. Jimin looked at the necklace before he put it back around his neck.

"That necklace must be really important to you." Taehyung said with a smile.

Jimin looked down to his necklace and smiled softly at it as he touched the shell.

"It was given to me by special someone." Jimin replied.

The face of the boy from his memory was blurry but he never forgot his pale complexion and his gummy smile. He also remembered the three pearls from his tears he gave to him.

"Is he from here?" Jungkook asked.

Jimin froze for a minute. For so long, he didn't tell anyone, including his friends that the necklace was from a human boy. He just couldn't. He was afraid that he might did something that make banned from seeing him again.

The golden tailed boy smirked at him and winked. "Secret~"

"Speaking of special someone, " Taehyung started and looked at Jungkook. "My family is inviting you over for dinner." He said and Jungkook froze.

Jungkook may be a troublemaker but was actually shy when it came to new people especially when it came to Taehyung's family.

"R-really?" Jungkook stuttered and Taehyung nodded in response.

"Don't worry, I'll be by your side." The bluenette said and kissed his forehead.

Looking at them, Jimin felt sad and missed the human boy more. It's been ten years and he was worried that he might not remember him or might turned into a horrible person. Generally, he just wanted to see him again.

"Jimin?" The blonde merman snapped out of his daze and looked at the couple.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked with a worried look.

Jimin smiled and nodded. "I'm fine."

"Let's go back to the palace, I'll help you prepare your things, Kookie." Taehyung said.

"Let's go." Jungkook said and looked at Jimin. "Are you coming?"

"I'll stay here for a minute to clear my head." He said.

Jungkook nodded slowly and both Jungkook and Taehyung swam back to the palace.

Jimin turned back and looked down. He grabbed the shell and raised it in front of him.

"I miss you, Yoongi. I hope I'll see you again." Jimin muttered to himself and sighed sadly.

Then, there was a shadow casting upon him. He looked up to see a huge silhouette hovering above him - blocking the light from the surface.

He stared at it with his eyebrows furrowed. He squinted his eyes and saw something falling from above.

It was coming fast. Next thing he knew, he was tangled by the net. He screamed and trashed around.

"JIMIN!" He heard Jungkook yell from the distance.

He then felt the net coming up with him in it.

"IT'S THE HUMANS!" He heard Taehyung yell.

Jimin continued to thrash around - hoping to be freed but it got himself getting more tangled.

"JIMIN!" He looked down to see Jungkook and Taehyung swim towards him.

They were so close to get him, however, with a strong tug, Jimin was now on the surface. He gasped and felt his gills on his neck close.

Jimin felt himself fall on a hard ground with a thud. He let out a shudder as he slowly looked up to see a bunch of men surrounding him.

' Humans!' He thought as he scanned his eyes, through the net, around with fear plastered on his face. He continued to look around frantically until his eyes landed on the black sail that had a huge skull at the center with two words crossed behind it. Jimin felt his heart hammered on his chest as he knew that flag.

' I'M ON A PIRATE SHIP!'
