Warning: Bloody scene and I don't know sword fighting.

The King of Korallia was in the balcony, glancing down to the village with an austere look on his ethereal face.

The sounds of faint hisses from the sirens and the cries of his people fueled his anger as his grip on his golden trident tightened.

Suddenly, he felt the change of the pressure of the water. Instincts kicked in and he swiftly blocked the attack. The powerful clang echoed in the throne room.

Seokjin looked at the attacker and saw Jooe smiling at him sinisterly. He scowled and forcibly pushed back the sword away.

"For a moment, I thought I was seeing King Habaek, the traitor to our kingdom." She hissed and swung her sword at him again.

Seokjin dodged the attack and used his trident to deflect the sword. When he saw the opening, he quickly swang his weapon to her exposed torso.

"Your ancestors rebelled against him!" The pink king protested as he deflected another swing of the sword. "King Habaek did it to stop the war." He added.

"Humans never deserve to live after everything they had done so wrong to us!" She screamed and attacked the king again.

The sea king parried every attacks and suddenly, he got slapped by her tail and left a wound on his cheek. Seokjin hissed in pain.

"Aww~ I'm sorry for hitting your pretty face, your majesty." She cooed before lunging towards him.

He parried again and displaced her sword then he counter - attacked. He saw an opening and quickly swung his trident towards her.

The tips of the trident met the flesh and tear it. Jooe screeched and looked down to her torso to see three scratch marks as red blood oozed and curled. The blonde siren looked up to the king and growled as her eyes became redder.

"What are you thinking about, Jimin?" Jungkook asked as he sat down next to his golden tailed friend.

Jimin snapped out from his thoughts and glance at Jungkook who looked curious and worried.

"You've been silent and kept on staring at the king's ring ever since we got here." The younger said as he pointed at the pearl ring in Jimin's palm.

Jimin stayed silent and looked down to the ring. Just by looking at it, reminded him that those two lovers would never meet again when one was dead and the other still yearning for his return.

He remembered the conversation he had with the king last night.

" However... Fate decided to tear us apart like the ships caught in the tides and when I knew that I was the heir to the throne, that meant I could no longer be with him."

The memory was still clear when he remembered the sad look of the King of Korallia. Tears only floated away when in the sea but from above, they would like a waterfall.

Jimin knew that the king was crying when he looked down to his ring and his bottom lip quivered slightly.

"It's really hard to love someone - who is from the different world and I know you have one yourself, Jimin."

Would Jimin have the same fate as King Seokjin?

Jooe was slammed to the wall, creating a big crack behind her. She groaned in pain and suddenly, felt the top of the trident pointing to her slender neck.

Seokjin glared at her as he panted, letting out some bubbles from his mouth.

He gawked at Jooe who suddenly started to laugh like a maniac. He scowled and pushed the tip more to there neck. Jooe stopped and smirked.
"Where is your leader?' Seokjin asked sternly. Jooe tilted her head to the side with her smirk still on her face.

"Long. Live. The king."

Suddenly, a pang of pain exploded on his back. He gasped and slowly looked down to see a tip of the sword emerged from his stomach.

Seokjin slowly looked behind him and there, the leader of the Sirens, Nancy who was smiling like a maniac with her sword stabbed through him.

Nancy tugged the sword out of his back and Seokjin gasped in pain. He started to see many red swirls in his vision.

He slowly knelt to the floor as he clutched his stomach in pain because of the brine of the sea. Seokjin coughed and blood started to ooze out of his mouth.

He started to grow weak because of losing too much blood. He felt his eyelids growing heavy and started to breathe heavily.

"Such a shame that we would have to kill such a handsome merman." She knelt down and clutched his jaw with her hands, her claws digging in to his once flawless cheek. "You even look like King Habaek."

"You...will nev...r w-win."

"Watch me - oh, wait! You won't."

He glared up at Nancy who laughed at him and slowly looked at the trident. He mumbled with a cough and blood coming out from his mouth, swirling in the sea before everything went black and his grip on his trident loosened.
