Book 2: The Golden Tail (YoonMin FF)

XV. Korallia Kingdom

Jimin gasped with his eyes wide in awe as the huge golden kingdom filled with colorful sparkling coral reefs surrounding it like a barrier came into view from the carriage he was in as the sharks pulled it with his guards (along with Jungkook) riding on their seahorses.

' No wonder Korallia is the main kingdom.' He thought.  ' It's so beautiful.'

They passed through a huge gate — that was opened by the gatekeepers. Many mermans came and gathered to see them entering the kingdom.

"It's the kingdom from the south!"

Jimin, Chanyeol and Baekhyun waved at them with smiles adorned on their faces.

"You look stiff, Jimin." Baekhyun said with a concern look.

"I-I'm just n-nervous." Jimin stuttered."It's the first time I'm going to meet with the King of Korallia, King Seokjin."

Jimin thought of the king looking stoic and intimidating with his right hand holding his family trident that was more powerful than the  sub kingdom rulers'.

"Don't worry, he isn't intimidating as he looks." The prince consort said with a soft smile and held his hand. "He is very welcoming." Jimin nodded and continued to smile and waved at the mermans until they made it to the palace.

The three of them got off the carriage and saw a wide staircase led to the huge double doors.

"King Chanyeol of Alcyoneum and his family have arrived!" One of the guards said and simultaneously, all the guards bowed to them before straightening their backs.

They swam up to the steps and the guards opened the doors for them.

Jimin looked around the hallway and saw the glowstones lining up on each side of the wall. In front of them, was another double doors. The guards opened them and a golden light emerged from the inside.

Jimin gasped as he let his eyes wandered around the the throne room and admired the structure. The golden light came from a huge chandelier in the middle of the throne room with small glowstones and pearls decorating it. The royals, the nobilities and the guards were crowding the room.

"Close your mouth, your highness or you'll catch a plankton." Jimin flinched and looked at his side to see Jungkook with a smirk.

The prince rolled his eyes. "Ha. Ha. Very funny."

Jungkook laughed and looked ahead. Now it was his turn dropping his jaw as he saw Prince Taehyung, who was having a conversation with his father.
Jimin smirked at Jungkook. "Close your mouth, Jungkookie or you'll catch a plankton."

Jungkook glared at him and stuck his tongue out and Jimin returned it.

The moment they heard three claps, the murmurs died down and looked at the throne to see the King of Korallia himself.

Jimin gasped quietly as he was awed by the king's beauty despite being nearly in 30's. It's like he never grew old.

"Welcome to Korallia. I thank you all for coming here for Luna Day tomorrow." King Seokjin said with a smile that was inviting.

"Let me escort you all to the dining area. You must be hungry after the long journey."

"These food are delictable, your majesty." One of the ruler said.

"Thank you, King Chen." Seokjin said with a Curt nod and a small smile.

The king then looked at the Park family. "Prince Jimin." He called out and the golden prince stopped Midway from eating.

Jimin looked up and smiled nervously at the king. "Yes, your majesty?"

Seokjin's face morphed into concern look. "I heard that you were kidnapped by the pirates, is it true?" He asked.

The memories of being kidnapped was making him shiver and the thought of nearly got sold to the ugly fat human was making him vomit.

"Yes, but I was rescued by a kind human and I was eternally grateful to him." Jimin said with a smile as he thought about Yoongi.

"At least, now we know that not all of them are bad." Taehyung said and ate.
Jimin nodded. "He said that the land king revived the law about the protection and preservation of the marine life."  He said with his smile getting wider.

"Be careful next time, okay?" Chanyeol said and ruffled his blond hair.

Jimin smiled back at his brother. "I will." He then looked down at his necklace and caressed the shell — smiling subtly to it.

Little did Jimin know, King Seokjin did the same to his pearl ring.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

OMG! It has been stressful these weeks —more reports, more quizzes, more activities and more assignments. The Online class has been making me tired and I guess it was caused by the radiation from my laptop because it's so bright that I have to keep my distance from it and to prevent myself from going blind. Also, I have to finish up putting rhinestones on the canvas before my best friend's birthday — which is two months away.

I'm sorry being slow but I'll try my best to finish this book with a good -ish ending.
