King Namjoon stared at the shards with the dark colored wine spilt - that were once a clear champagne glass. "I'm being clumsy again." He sighed and bent down to pick up the shards.
A sting of pain ran through his nerves as he accidentally cut himself by it. He retracted quickly his hand back and looked down, only to see a small blood slowly running down on his index finger.
He sighed again. "It is not my day, is it?" He mumbled to himself.
Suddenly, a thunder roared loudly, followed by the howls of the strong wind.
King Namjoon stood up slowly and looked through the window. His palace was on the mountain so he could see the view of the sea and the village in the lowland. He gasped at the horrific scene.
The dark cumulonimbus clouds swirled around with the lightning flashing big and brightly. The waves of the once calmed sea became massive and smashed against the piers.
Breaking the ships and boats apart. Two masts on the ships timbered down and smashed the other ships as the men who were on there, screamed and scrambled away. However, some of them weren't lucky.
It was like the sea was angry at the humans as another massive wave came but this time, carrying the ships off the pier and tossed them on the nearest building, destroying them.
The people screamed as they ran away from the pier.
King Namjoon retrogade from the window and marched off to the door. He yanked it open and saw two guards standing at their posts.
They bowed to him as he was walked in front of them. "Evacuate the villagers here. Tell the rest of the men and tell the servants to prepare the towels for them. Go!" He bellowed and the guards bowed before they scurried off.
"Namjoon!" Someone hollered behind him. He turned back and saw Queen Soyeon, his mother, walking fast towards him.
"What's going on? I've never seen a storm so strong." She said with a worried look plastered on her beautiful face.
"I don't know but the people must be evacuated here since the palace in the highland." He replied as he ran his fingers through his blond hair.
The queen looked down and gasped in horror when she saw her son's hand. "My son, your hand." She said as she pointed at his hand.
The king looked down on his hand and saw his blood from his wounded finger just trailed and stained the pearl on his ring.
