Hallucinations?

That night I told myself not to say a word; anyway it might have just been a hallucination from the heat. I could have sworn it was real, but just in case.

The next day things got weirder, Nathan wasn’t at school but each time I went past his locker… or even his desk I would get a feeling… a strange indescribable feeling. It was almost like I was being pulled to him, it was like I needed him. Not wanted… needed. I would get a chill up my spine if I even thought about him, but how was this possible… all I knew about him was his name and yet just his thought brought an unbelievable familiarity across me.

It was three days before I saw him again. It was during home group, I walked in to find him mingling with a group of kids. It was quite strange that any weird feelings I had left the night before. Whatever he did to me must only last a few days. Well I think it does.

For then on I hadn’t even seen him glance at me, not even the shortest look in my general direction.
