Hi everyone, hope you enjoy this chapter, I know it's a little short... sorry, I'll make the next one longer. :) Just a little note to tell everyone about a great book by cupcake_jellyfish, it's called 'The best love stories are always cliche'. She would love some more reads. I really love the book and I'm sure that most would enjoy it. Speaking of great books, you should also check out 'Her last kiss' by Alyss_Wolf. After all it's because of her that I even wrote this story. :) Anyway, please enjoy. :)
After a while I turned back to normal, but normal felt like crap compared to being with him. Ah… him, oh my gosh, I can’t believe what had just happened. What a first kiss, I still don’t know why he left in such a hurry but at the moment I really just couldn’t care less.
I got up and walked home in a state of… well… blah. Homework seemed more boring than usual and it just seemed to drag on, and on, and on. Dinner tasted plain, even though we were eating my favourite, wraps with crispy chicken, grated cheese, lettuce and extra mayonnaise. All I wanted was to be with him and for him to hold me… and well… just be there.
I didn’t stop thinking about him, even when I fell asleep I still dreamed about him, though sleep did not come easy, all I could do was think about him and wait until I saw him tomorrow.
At school he acted like he did when we first touched, he didn’t even look my way. I felt used, terrible… angry. How could we just connect like that, and just have him just leave me on the sidelines. Maybe he is just shy. I thought… but I’m sure that he would be comfortable after last night; he didn’t even try and talk to me. I know that last night I felt almost obsessed with him, but now all I felt was anger and frustration.
I’ve never been the kind of girl to do lots with my looks, but with him there I knew that I would have to look just plain fabulous.
In the morning I put on some light makeup, some soft eyeliner, mascara and slightly pinky / silvery eye shadow, half of this stuff I didn’t even know I had. Then I did up my hair in a high pony tail with strands of hair down the sides.
The kids at school just didn’t know what hit them.
