It's the next morning and Five is now awake and sober. Hungover but sober. He is telling us about the apocalypse and I'm sitting next to him on the bed.

"When's it supposed to happen? This...apocalypse." Luther asked.

"I can't give you the exact hour, but...from what I could gather, we have four days left."

"Why didn't you say something sooner?"

"It wouldn't have mattered." Five said "Of course it would. We could've banded together and helped you try to stop this thing." Luther was getting mad.

"For the record, you already tried."

"What do you mean?" He asked. I grabbed Five's hand knowing this was hard for him to talk about.

"I found all of you. Your bodies." I put my head on his shoulder to let him know I'm here for him.

"We die?" Luther asked scared.

"Horribly. You were together, trying to stop whoever it was that ends the world." Five said his voice cracking. I kissed his temple to let him know it's ok, cause he's been through a lot he needed a little love right now.

"Wait, how do you know that?" Luther asked. Five pulled out the eye and threw it to Luther.

"This was clutched in your dead hand when I found you. Must've ripped it out of their head right before you went down."

"Whose head?"

"Like I said, I don't know."

"Well there's a serial number on the back. Think maybe you could try..."

"No, that's a dead end. It's just another hunk of glass." Luther gave it back to Five.

Suddenly Diego busted in and he looked angry. Like he was gonna kill someone angry.

"Piece of shit. Do you have any idea what you just did?" Diego tried storming up to Five. Luther grabbed him. And Five grabbed me in attempts to protect me.

"Nope, let me-Get your ape hands off me!" He screamed to Luther.

"I can do this as long as it takes you to calm down."

"Fine." Luther set Diego down. And Five let me go.

"Now, wanna tell us what you're talkin' about?" Luther asked.

"Our brother's been pretty busy since he got back. Our sister too. They were in the middle of that shootout at Griddy's, and then at Gimble Brothers, after the guys in the masks attacked the Academy, looking for him." Diego said with anger.

"Actually Diego I wasn't at the shootout at Gimble Brothers don't stick me in the middle of whatever this is. I'm just trying to help Five stop the apocalypse."

"None of which is any of his concern." Five said to me.

"It is now. They just killed my friend." Diego said panting. Luther turned to us.

"Who are they, Five?" Luther asked.

"They work for my former employer. A woman called The Handler. She sent them...to stop me. Then, as soon as Diego's friend got in their way, well, fair game."

"And now they're my fair game. And I'm gonna see to it they pay." Diego said walking toward the door.

"That would be a mistake, Diego. They've killed people far more dangerous than you."

"Yeah, we'll see about that." He said walking out the door.

"Former employer? What's this really about Five? And don't give me any of this 'It's none of your business' crap, all right?" Luther said mad.
