Gone 2 Long (Number Five)

I woke up the next morning and got ready and went to a meeting with General Hill. It was just boring stuff. I don't know why I even have to sit in to all these damn meetings.

"Pay attention child! You're being briefed!" General yelled at me.

"Yes General Hill. And please stop calling me a child. I'm a 32 year old women. I just have the body of a child." I replied.

"Maybe if you stopped acting like one I wouldn't call you one. Anyways, the President will be coming here to Dallas on the 22nd. You will be there to guard him and protect him. There have been some threats to his life recently so he must be protected. Understand?" He said.

"Yes sir." I said. Ha like I was gonna protect the President. If Five taught me anything about time travel it's to never change the timeline.

"Good. Don't mess this up or you'll regret it." He said.

The meeting lasted a little longer after that but once I was able to leave I ran to find Tommy and Luke. I eventually found them walking down the hall.

"Hey! You guys wanna go have some fun?" I asked them.

"Hell yeah!" They replied.

"Alright then gather up the troops we are going to have a fun day!" I said. We put our hands together in the middle of us.

"Ready? One! Two! Three!" I said.

"BREAK!" We all said lifting our hands in the air and then scattering in different directions.

They went and gathered up everyone and got their baiting suits. I got mine on as well.

We met outside behind the base and they all had the supplies we needed for our typical fun day. They set down a long line of tarps.

I made a big hole at the end of it, lined it with rock, and filled it with water. They filled the tarps with soap bubbles. Because liquid soap hasn't been invented yet. (True fact btw)

They all started sliding down the tarps and into the makeshift pool I had made. Basically we made a giant water slide with a big pool at the end.

Finally it was me, Luke, and Tommy's turn. We linked arms and got a running start and then broke apart and belly flopped onto the tarps I had a gust of wind make us go faster.

We were laughing and then we fell into the pool and swam around with the others. We splashed, did chicken fights, and other typical pool stuff.

It was so much fun. And the I knew the other soldiers always enjoyed the fun days I helped them have. I never got to have that many days like this with The Umbrella Academy. So I cherish the days I spend here. We continued to play around.

Then General Hill came out and he looked angry. I knew this couldn't be good. He doesn't know we do stuff like this and we've never been caught.

"Play it cool boys." I whispered to them as General Hill marched up.

"WHAT IN GODS NAME ARE YOU ALL DOING!" He screamed. I swear I could see smoke coming out of his ears.

"Having fun General Buzz Kill. What's it look like?" I said to him. Everyone laughed.

"You young lady should be training!And not lolly gagging and having 'fun' with my men!"

No body puts Scarlett in a corner. I reached my hand up and manipulated his blood. I made him slap himself and start dancing. The guys started laughing and so did I.

"You stop that! Release me at once child!"

"Maybe when you learn how to talk to and respect women I will. Especially women with powers." I said to him.

"Why you..." I made him fall on his ass. We were all laughing so hard.

"Apologize and i'll let you go General." I said.

"I will never apologize to the likes of you!"

"Alright then General. But just remember you asked for it." I made him walk towards the pool.

"Don't you dare child!"

"Oh, I dare." I said smirking. I made him walk right to the edge and lean forward.

"Let me go at once!"

"If you say so General." I smirked and released him and he fell in. We laughed so hard some of us had tears in our eyes. Hill looked so mad.

"All of you out now and clean up this mess! That's an order soldiers!" We did as told and cleaned up. We all got dressed and met the General in the training yard. He had also changed out of his wet uniform.

"Now since you lazy excuses for soldiers want to go out and have 'fun' I'm going to have you do my idea of fun. A no break training day. No one rests till dinner. Let's go soldiers!"

We did endless hours of training as punishment. It was like torture.

We had to do workouts and I had to practice with my powers which made me even more tired. This shit makes me miss Dads training days. And back then I could of sworn that was hell but compared to this it was nothing.

"Dinner time maggots! But before you go I hope you all learned a valuable lesson from all of this. Now scram!" He said.

"They only lesson I learned is that next time I'll take us farther from base." I said to them and we all laughed walking away.

"What are you laughing about!" General yelled.

"Nothing General." We all said as we continued walking.

Thanks to the General I am now soar, sweaty, and exhausted. At dinner I told everyone I was sorry for putting them through all that and they told me it was fine cause the fun time we did get was worth it. I was so glad they weren't mad at me.

Once dinner was over I said goodnight to the others and headed back to my room. I took a shower and got ready for bed.

I got in bed and was out like a light...

Hello sorry there wasn't much I could do with this episode because I have a plan on how I want the next episode to go. I made it as long as I could. Just wait it will get better. :)
