Anaya POV

"Let's finish him!" Troy exclaimed.

Oh Lord! What's happening?!

"What do you mean?" His father questioned.

"Let's kill him tonight. No one will get to know about this, it will happen in such a way that Neema won't get the time to intervene and in that we will satisfy the contract, earning what we signed for," Troy explained.

There's a contract between the Sherkhan and the Siffer, I need to find out more about this. But, right now, I need to know what they are up to.

"Let's say we agree to this, what will you do? You can't barge in with a gun! This is not like the one in Jamaica. The guards will have you down before you even realize it," his father explained having a point.

"We can spike his drink. I can get Summaiyah to do this without anyone knowing,"

"You seriously think she will listen to you without consulting her step mother? You two may be sleeping around but that doesn't mean she will listen to you only," his dad said and sigh. "Let's see it how it is, he has bodyguards everywhere, you can't even touch his car or even get near him," he continued further.

To be honest, he is right. Taylor and his team have their eyes everywhere.

"I will deal with that. I will deal with him," Troy said as I could hear the determination in his voice.

This can't be happening.

"Let's get out of here," his dad said and as I registered these words, I made my way to the hall.

I was on my way to find James while processing all that I have just heard. James, not him. I need to figure out what's happening. I was in the main hall where the event was happening. It was pretty crowded and I had no sight of James, which stressed me out even more. Such a huge event with so many public figures should have an optimized security around, right?

Oh God, please?! Where's he? And that too am walking around with such a heavy lehenga!

"Where were you?" I heard from behind which made me jump and turn around.

"James!" I said and hugged him, my arms around his neck. Well, we could say I jumped on him like a freaking koala.

I could feel he was taken aback but hugged me and kissed the top of my head. Why am I so happy to have finally found him...

"Hey Sweetheart, you okay?" He said before kissing my hair again.

'NO! I am not okay?! Troy and his dad are after you. It scares the hell out of me cause I can't afford something happening to you!' I wanted to say out loud but how!

"I was looking for you," I said into his chest before his loosened grip, making me look up at him.
"Anaya, you literally disappeared! I was looking for you Princess, don't do this again okay?" He said looking straight into my eyes in a low and affectionate tone.

I nodded and gave him a smile. He is always so worried about me, shows so many emotions but at the same time remains blunt whenever things get too serious.

"Come on, let's go have dinner," he said and held my hand tightly in his. Our fingers entwined and my racing heart, what a combination.

My eyes were constantly scanning the whole area. People dressed in their attire and a very tight security. The fact that such a place with high personalities must have an optimum level of security  provides some sort of comfort. However, when it comes to James, I cannot help but worry. There's something about him that ignites the unknown in me...
