ADALINE'S POV
After spending some time in Sussex we had decided to come back home to Cavendish Avenue. We were enjoying time along the five of us, but the kids were starting to miss Rose as well as their play dates with Andy. The moment we got home both Mady and Matt begged us to have Andy over to play, so now here we are. Lily and Andy had come over right after breakfast and the three kids have been running around playing the whole time.
"So how are you feeling? You're halfway there." I asked Lily.
"I feel great actually. This pregnancy is going so smoothly and Andy seems very excited to have a little brother or sister." She smiled, running her hand over her belly. "I have a good feeling this one's a girl, but Charlie says it's too early to guess."
"Oh I hope it's a girl! That way our girls would be close in age."
"They would! Speaking of, Meredith's due any day now, isn't she?"
"She is! I'm so excited. Mike's been calling us every few days asking last minute questions, it's so sweet!" I smiled. "They're so good with the kids, I know they'll be amazing parents."
"I agree. Having Mady to watch honestly helped us all prepare for parenthood."
"Some little one wanted to say hello." Paul smiled as he came downstairs with Mia.
"There's my sweet girl!" I smiled and took her from Paul. "Did you sleep well, darling?"
"It seems that she did, but she was fussing that she wanted her Mum."
"I'm here, sweetpea. You're probably just hungry." I looked at Lily. "Would you mind if I went to feed her?"
"Not at all."
I stood up and went upstairs to the nursery to feed Mia. Once she was fed we came back downstairs to find Paul and Lily talking.
"She all good and fed?"
"She is."
"She's getting so big. Can I hold her?" Lily asked.
"Of course." I smiled and handed her over to Lily.
"Hi sweet girl." She smiled and looked down at Mia. "She looks so much like Mady when she was little."
"She does. It's so hard to believe how old Mady is now. She'll be five this year! My baby is getting so big!"
"It's so hard to believe how far we've come in five years. Three kids, the Beatles broke up, you published two books, and we made my solo album together." Paul said as he took my hand.
"Speaking of the album, how's it going so far? I know it hasn't been out long." Lily asked.
"I've heard mixed reviews so far. I expected it. It's still early though."
"You just have to give it time. The fans are still adjusting to you all being on your own and not together anymore."
"That's what I told him." I took Paul's hand. "That's not stopping him from working on music for the next album."
"The next one? That's great! Good for you, Paul. And Addie, Paul told me you heard from Julie Andrews! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Oh. I guess it just kind of slipping my mind?" I shrugged. "With the kids I've just been so busy. I'm sorry, Lil." I looked over at Paul. "Lily and I went and saw the Sound of Music together when it came out. It's been our favourite ever since."
