The Battle For The Tree of Life

As the Sun rises in the Pridelands, Simba and Vitani say their goodbyes to Nala, Kiara and Kovu. Their plan right now is to go to the Tree of Life and give Kion some help. Vitani, with her Roar of the Elders, and Simba... Simba is just Simba, he helps with liony things.

As Simba and Nala are saying goodbye, Kovu turns to Vitani.

"Don't get yourself hurt please, Vitani," Kovu says.

"Thanks, but I'll be fine, Kovu," She replies.

Simba turns to Kiara and Kovu as they continue to say their goodbyes to Vitani.

"Ready, Vitani?" Simba asks.

"Yeah, I'm all set," Vitani replies before looking back at Kovu. "I'll be back in no time," Vitani chuckles before turning around and walking with Simba down Pride Rock.

They begin to leave the Pridelands as Vitani turns to Simba.

"How do you think Kion is doing right now?" Vitani asks.

"I just hope he can defend himself until we get there," Simba replies.

"Maybe we should walk a little faster, right? We don't want to keep him waiting," Vitani suggests.

"Good point," Simba says as he begins to speed up.

Over at the Tree of Life, Kion and Rani are lying on their rock in the lair as they are snuggled up together. Kion has his paw around Rani's neck, holding her as she lays her head on Kion's. Their heads are locked together and their tails too. Just two lions who are deeply in love and in a cuddle position that makes me realize that I'm in fact jealous of them. But it doesn't matter, Rani is cute, Kion is even cuter; that's what counts.

Kion wakes up with a lion's yawn. In the process of his mighty yawn, he wakes Rani. She looks over at Kion with a glimmer in her eye. Kion looks down and realizes that he woke Rani.

"Oh, sorry, didn't mean to wake you, Rani," Kion says.

Rani giggles, "It's fine, it's almost time to get up anyways," She replies.

Kion yawns again, this time with a little stretch.

Rani moves her head over and licks the side of his check when Kion looks over at her with a smile. Kion stares into Rani's eyes, she notices that Kion is admiring every detail of her face. She moves her paws up his chest and then wraps them around his neck and pulls him in for a kiss. They hold that kiss for about 2 seconds before Makini accidently walks in again for the eight hundredth time.

"How many times am I going to keep walking in on you two," She says as she begins to turn around.

Rani giggles. "Makini it's fine," Rani says, making Makini turn around again and walk down to them.

"You two sure love each other," Makini giggles.

"Yeah," Rani says before looking over at Kion "It seems we can't find a good time to be with each other, which is really sad," Rani chuckles as she sits up.

"Aww you are going to make me cry," Makini sniffles.

"Actually I might have to start going on patrol more. Fuli is due for a cub soon," Kion replies.

"Oh, I completely forgot about that," Rani adds.

"Aw, so that means you two will be apart more?" Makini asks.
