A Very Hostile Take-over
Rani wakes up, laying on Kion's chest, she looks over at Kion to see his front paws up and his head back, still completely asleep. The short rises in Kion's chest was an amazing pillow for Rani last night. She stands up and nudges Kion's head with her snout before licking it, waking him up
"Mmm, hey," Kion says in a morning voice as he rubs his eye.
Rani giggles, "How'd you sleep," She asks as she nuzzles him.
"Amazing," Kion chuckles before pulling Rani down.
"Yeah?" Rani chuckles before being kissed.
Rani lays back down with Kion, allowing him to wrap his paws around her back and cuddle.
"About last night... it was, it was nice, I enjoyed it.," Kion says as he nuzzles Rani.
Rani giggles, "Yeah, I did too."
Kion looks Rani in the eyes; for some reason, at that moment, Kion adores her more than ever. He looks up and down her body, Rani chuckles a bit, noticing Kion looking at her like that.
She moves her right paw up to his neck as he catches a glimpse of her scar on her right forearm.
"You're lucky your scar is hidden," Kion chuckles, "I have to deal with this on my face," Kion says as he rubs it with his paw.
"I think it makes you cuter," Rani chuckles.
Kion's ears perk as he looks over "What?"
"You and your self-consciousness, it's a cute trait you have," Rani giggles.
"What? I mean... yeah, wait," Kion's face begins to turn bright red.
Rani chuckles.
"What about you, how did you get your scar?" Kion asks.
"I got it after my parents were killed," Rani replies.
"O-oh... Rani, I'm sorry," Kion says.
"Hey, it's fine. It was a long time ago, don't worry," Rani chuckles.
Surak walks down into the lair, grabbing the attention of the royal pair.
"Morning Surak," Rani says with a smile as she sits up.
"Queen Rani, King Kion, animals reported a leopard sighting near the cliff walls," Surak says in a calm tone.
"Leopards? But Vitani and I roared them away?" Kion replies.
"Hey, Rani!" Nirmala shouted from outside.
Rani sighs, "Coming," She says as she begins to walk out with haste.
Too many things were happening this morning, Kion can tell it's going to be a rough day. Kion and Surak turn to the entrance and begin walking out too, but slowly as they keep talking.
"Should we send someone up there to check it out?" Surak asks.
"I'll get Ono to fly ahead and check it out with the guard behind him," Kion replies.
"Isn't Fuli on break?" Surak asks.
Rani exits to the outside, catching the sight of someone she doesn't want to see, especially at this moment with Kion only seconds away. A childhood friend, Fang.
Nirmala, Baliyo stare, as they don't know what to do. Fang steps up a little closer with a smile on his snout.
"Rani..." Fang steps up, with a smirk.
