Another Kingdom?Kiara heads to the entrance of the Tree of Life. She bumps into Rani as the queen walks out of her lair.
"Oh Rani, how is Kion?"
"He's uh, he's fine," She replies, as Kiara falls in step with her.
They move away from the Tree to talk more.
"Did Kovu tell you what happened?" Rani asks.
"Yeah, he did. What about you?"
"Kion told me enough," Rani replies, peeking back into the lair.
"Hey look, Kovu and I need to leave later today, though I don't want to if Kion can't handle himself."
Rani sighs, "Yeah, he should be fine."
Kion walks out of the lair then stops at the entrance. He rubs his eyes before he approaches Rani and Kiara.
"Hey I'm gonna head up to Cikha Escarpment," Kion says as he approaches the two females.
"You sure you want to go now? Your mood may affect your roar," Rani replies.
"Yeah, should be okay."
"Alright, be safe," Rani says as she walks up to Kion and nuzzles him.
"Always am... sort of," He says before he walks off.
"Well, what are you going to do?" Kiara asks.
"Need to figure out what to do with those two brothers. Oh hey, you can come with me," Rani suggests.
"Oh why not, should be fun."
Rani and Kiara walk off as Kojo and Novo begin to talk.
"How's your leg?" Novo asks.
"Good, feels better now that I'm not walking on it."
"Also, remember they said they have an 'idea' for us? What do you think that means?"
"Probably something good, maybe Nepeta cataria," Kojo replies rolling on his back lightly.
"Somewhat?"
"Nepeta- or catnip. Whatever you want to call it."
"You want to get high?"
"I mean, who wouldn't?" Kojo replies, looking back at his brother.
"Good point."
Over at Cikha Escarpment, Kion walks over to the ledge. He thinks about calling Askari but decides he doesn't want to. He looks over at his training ground. He moves into his roaring stance. Kion prepares himself; he sighs as he sits down on the ground. His mind races, retracing everything that happened. He thinks of Scar, and how he was somewhat responsible for Shido's death. His body fills with darkness as he stands back up. He closes his eyes as he tenses up getting back into a roaring position. His mind circles back to the last thing he saw of Shido; him falling off the ledge. Kion saw the look in his eyes. The look of "Oh crap, I'm dead." Kion roars, and black clouds flood the sky as his roar hits a rock wall. The wall begins to crack as multiple rock pillars collapse. The roar echoes over the lands like never before. His roar dissipates as the clouds shoot out multiple bursts of lightning before wrapping around his roar and shooting into the cracks in the wall. Chunks of rock begin to crack and slide off the wall, hitting the ground and crumbling. Kion stops and the clouds disappear.
He sits back down beginning to think about what he has done in life, and what he has yet to do. Then it comes to him. A thought of avenging Shido, of finally putting an end to the conflict. The thought of once again killing Scar. But this time, putting him where he belongs; six feet under. Scar was tough with him, attacking his friends. Kion realizes that killing Scar may fix all his problems. "Would it?" he ponders. "I mean most likely yes, you cut off the source, everything else stops working." Kion begins to walk back to the Tree as he further grapples the morality of Scar's death.
