Switzerland x America fluff

It's not exactly what you wanted, but I hope it's still good

Switzerland considered himself a very well-tempered man. He never raised his voice, he just changed his tone. He enjoyed guns and picnics, but above all, he adored his little sister. Liechtenstein was his pride and joy, she was the only one who ever saw him actually smile. Which would be why he was so fiercely protective of her.

World meetings always held their chaos, but this one, in particular, was different. It was being held in New York City, a place she knew not for its skyscrapers, but for its gardening programs. Liechtenstein had told Switzerland she was going to explore the city on her break, as she wished to check out the new community garden that had just opened a few blocks from the hall. Switzerland, of course, hesitated. But did allow her to go as he ate his lunch with Austria.

She walked all the way to the garden to find that many small children were gathered around a familiar blonde figure. Lilli couldn't believe it at first, but after taking a closer look she knew she was right.

It was America.

"Miss, may we help you?" another man had come from behind her and asked. She jumped, a bit startled by the sudden hand on her shoulder. She turned and saw the friendly face of a fellow gardener, "my name's Tanner, what's your's?"

"My name is Lilli,"

"Would you like to take a look around? I just got done planting a pretty large cabbage patch over there. I'm working on planting the cucumbers next," Lilli smiled but looked back to America, "I see ya taken a liking to Alfred. Ya, the kids love him! He's helped plant every community garden in the past five years!"

"Yea, he seems like a good guy. I work with him in our career field," Lilli explained, "I never knew he liked to garden. Maybe he should do it more often! He looks like he's having fun,"

"You sound foreign, where ya from?"

"Liechtenstein, it's a small country that's landlocked,"

"Neat! Well, please stay as long as you like!" Tanner left and Lilli walked up to Alfred, who was planting some tomato seeds. She lightly coughed, getting his attention. He looked up and smiled.

"Hey, Lilli, nice to see ya here!"

"Yes, thank you, Alfred. Do you do this often?" Alfred nodded and explained that he always volunteers his time when he's not busy. The two talked for ten more minutes before Lilli realized the time, "we should head back to the meeting. It starts in ten minutes,"

"Yeah, you're right," he got up and stretched. He looked down at his dirty slacks, but chuckled, "Iggy is gonna kill me when he sees my pants. But, what else is new? We should take the path there, the one that goes along the East River. It should cut out time in half," Alfred began to lead Lilli back to the meeting building. Both of them were smiling happily as they walked along the pathway. That is until a brawl broke out between two men. America kept Lilli behind him to keep her from getting involved, but it didn't work. The two men turned into two groups within a minute and the duo was approached by a few members.

The shouts became loud and police started to show up. Alfred and Lilli were being cornered against the river and the crowd. Lilli was shaking at this point as she looked to the water.

"Alfred, I'm kind of scared,"

"Can you swim?"

"No, I'm a triple landlocked country. I don't really have to need nor want to learn. Plus, I'm scared of open water," Lilli confessed as the two were pressed further against the railing. Alfred weighed his options but smiled.
