Amelia is hidden from the other nations her entire life until she finally sneaks away

PILOT CHAPTER!!! MORE INFORMATION AT THE END!!!

______________________________________________

Amelia was listening to classical music as she gazed out the plane window, the bright blue sky clear and the sun brightly shining. She closed the book that was on her lap, as she had been catching up on her German. Her mind began to reflect on everything she did to get where she was right now.

Amelia was shopping in a market, looking for her favorite premium syrup. When she finally found it, she reached out to grab the last bottle. Her hand touched another man's hand and she looked up, gazing into the soft amethyst eyes of the stranger.

"Sorry aboot that, you can have it," he spoke.

"Nah, no worries. Here, I can always buy it next week," she handed it to him. He smiled at her gently and nodded.

"I forgot how nice you Americans were," the stranger said as he set the item in his basket, "my name is Matthew, what's yours, eh?"

"Amelia, but you can call me Mel. Are you Canadian?"

"Oui, I normally only come here to buy this syrup. It's my favorite in the world. I recently ran out of my emergency supply. I farm maple trees and normally use my own syrup, but my taps came up dry yesterday and I used the last of my secret stash on my pancakes," Matthew rubbed his neck.

"Well then, please take it. I mean, pancakes are best with maple syrup!" the two laughed, "you gotta last name that goes with that adorable face?" Matthew blushed and giggled.

"Williams, Matthew Williams," Amelia's eyes widened when he said his full name.

This man is my brother?!

Amelia played it cool and offered to buy him lunch, which he kindly accepted. After two months, the two became virtually inseparable. Amelia was sleeping over one night when Matthew received a fancy invitation.

"Mel! Check it out! One of my associates is hosting his annual International Gala! Would you like to accompany me as my date, even though we're friends?" Amelia brightened up.

I can meet everyone else then!!!

"I'd love to!!!"

Amelia was snapped out of her memory when the pilot came over the loudspeaker.

"Passengers, we will be landing at Vienna International Airport in five minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for minor turbulence. Thank you for choosing Global Air and please fly again soon!"

Amelia buckled her belt and took a deep breath, steadying her anxiety. For centuries she has dreamed of meeting those like her, personifications just like her. Even though nobody, not even Matthew, knew about her existence. Once the plane touched down, she went to the overhead and grabbed her red duffle bag. It was specially designed to hold dry clean items and fit multiple stacks of clothes. She had her handmade Gala outfit, four outfits, two pairs of pajamas, her personal care pouch, her small makeup bag, her laptop, all of her electronic chargers, as well as all her forms of ID and insurance papers. She also had her custom Desert Eagle next to her government badge.

When she left the plane, she went through the proper protocol. Taking out her Desert Eagle and scaring the hell out of passengers. She then flashed the scared pedestrians her government badge and put it alongside the gun, as to inform the Austrian workers. Once that was all sorted out, she went outside to hail a cab.
