Alright! Here's a request from kennedy_rianneFun fact about me, my favorite odd/rare ship is Chumerica (China x America). I always found the aspect of the eldest nation and one of the youngest nations being in a relationship pretty cute. This oneshot is going to be a sicfic, when America is running a fever. China, being a horny but caring boyfriend, helps him feel better.
Enjoy!

The World Summit was supposed to start twenty minutes ago. Most of the nations didn't care, anything that enabled them to gossip and catch up more was ok in their books. The table was loud with babbling and chatter, fights and arguments, sexual tension and much, much more. This ticked off the ever so diligent Germany, the blonde having a migraine already before the meeting even began. Poor guy never seems to catch a break.
You might be wondering why the meeting is chaos when it's not even a meeting yet. Well, America has yet to show up. He hadn't contacted anybody nor informed any security guard of his whereabouts. This worried some nations, in particular, a certain Chinese man. Yao would never admit it, but he loved that oblivious American more than Hello Kitty or money. Yea, America owed him a shit-ton of debt. But Alfred as a person was nothing like Alfred as a nation. China fell in love with the nation after a terrible breakup with Russia. China didn't come to meetings for months, so America took it upon himself to intervene. He knocked at China's door and saw the elder nation in complete disarray. His hair was a rats nest of knots and grease, his eyes were tired and droopy, his skin seemed paler and he looked to frail. America nursed China physically and emotionally, helping the ancient combat his completely stupid breakup.
A half-hour late, and guess who strolls in. None other than America. All the nations turned to scold the American before gasping at his appearance. America's face was flushed and his cheeks were red, his hair was unkept and dulled out, his body seemed weaker as he trudged to his seat, and his breathing was heavy as he panted.
"Sorry I'm late, I didn't wake up to my alarm clock," Alfred explained as he sat in his seat. Francis and Arthur could feel Alfred's fever from their chairs, the heat radiating more than nuclear energy.
"Mon fills, are jou ok?" Francis asked as he gently brushed hair off of America's face.
"Yea, it's just been hectic in the states recently in terms of natural disasters,"
"How so lad?" Arthur questioned.
(this next part if completely fiction and I HOPE TO GOD that it never happens)
"Well, one-third of California is literally up in flames. It's drought season which means forest fires are literally tearing apart the woodland areas. They also have been pretty badly hit by earthquakes, one yesterday clocked in at 7.2 and knocked down five streets worth of businesses. Tornado Alley has suffered four F5 tornados in the last twenty-four hours, dozens of towns utterly destroyed and 56 are dead, hundreds are either missing or injured. But that understandable considering if a swirling dust cloud going 300 miles an hour hit my house I'd count my stars if I survived. Lousiana just had major rainfall and the entire southern marshlands are now flooded. Now people are being basically devoured by mosquitos or trying to smack down the nearly million gators that are swimming through the floodwaters. Then, to top it all of, record cold temperatures and blizzards are destroying towns from Montana to Michigan. A town in North Dakota is literally buried in 10 feet of snow right now," America's explanation shocked the nations. They didn't realize America was in so much pain. China stood up abruptly and helped the nation to his feet.
"You go home now. Being here is bad for your health. I'll stay by your side to make sure you get better, aru," China lightly dragged America to the door. Nobody argued and a few 'get wells' were all Alfred heard before he collapsed in China's arms. The ancient hoisted America onto his back, hoping he didn't throw it out before he could get America home. The journey just to China's car was difficult, as they had to go down two flights of stairs before coming across a working elevator. China sat America on the passenger side, buckled him in, and began the ride home. China's eyes were focused on the road most of the time, but he would glance the younger up and down from time to time. China's always wanted America, he's always wanted to have the lively ball of chi for himself.
