Chapter 9: The Pizza In The Night Sky

                        The turtles, Bolt, Crystal, April, and Casey all left TCRI as soon as they can after they got the hardrive. "So Donnie how long will it take for you to get into the kraang files from that hardrive?" Leo asked. Donnie thought for a moment. "Well, whatever they had hiding in there, they locked it up good. I'm guessing I'll finishing hacking into it tomorrow morning or late tonight." Donnie said. "Well, when you open it let me and Crystal know. You'll know where to find me." Bolt said. "Well, I better get going. Hopefully my parents haven't seen me gone. Nice meeting you!" Crystal said leaving towards her house. "Come on Casey we got to study for that Trig exam." April said walking away with Casey following her. "Bye Bolt, we'll tell you the news once we find something new." Leo said leaving with Donnie and Raph already in front of him. Bolt sat at the edge of the building and sighed "You okay?" Mikey asked making Bolt jump. "I thought you left with your brothers!" Bolt said after having an almost heart attack. "I wanted to walk you home...." Mikey said with embarrassment but still with a goofy smile. Mikey saw the redness appear around Bolt's mask. She was blushing. That made Mikey blush. Mikey sat down next to Bolt. "Is that alright with you?" He asked. "Umm, yeah... I just wanted to sit here and look at the stars for a bit." Bolt said. "I'll watch them with you." Mikey said happily. Bolt and Mikey looked off into the sky. Mikey started to giggle. "What?" Bolt asked. "Those stars look like a pizza!" He said pointing. Bolt stared hard at the night sky. "I see it!" She gasped when she saw the circle of stars creating the pizza crust. "And the moon is a slice of pepperoni!" Mikey laughed. Bolt laughed too. During the laughing their two hands slid closer to one another and touched. The laughing instantly stopped and they just gazed into each others eyes. Then, Bolt turned her head and stopped touching Mikey's hand. Mikey snapped out of his dream. "Are you okay?" Mikey asked. Mikey saw a tear come from Bolt's eye. "Hey, what's wrong?" Mikey said putting his hand on Bolt's shoulder. "Nothing....You just remind me of someone..." Bolt said wiping her tears. "Who?" "I can't say." Bolt said. "What's up with you and secrets?" Mikey said harsher than he meant to. Bolt turned to Mikey. "Secrets are what keep me alive! If I told you everything about me you would probably leave me! You'd think I'm a monster! Well guess what I probably am! So you better run while you still can!" Bolt said getting up and leaving having more tears then before. "Bolt! Wait, I'm sorry, I didn't want to hurt your feelings!" Mikey said. "Too late!" Bolt responded. "Bolt, please. I'm really sorry! Everyone has secrets. You can keep any secrets that you like!" Mikey said. Bolt stopped and turned back to Mikey. Mikey hugged Bolt. Mikey's hug shocked Bolt. Even more to her surprise, she hugged back. "Thank You." Bolt whispered. Bolt hasn't been hugged in a long time. Too long. Somehow Mikey could sense that. He didn't stop hugging Bolt until she let go. Mikey's warmth from the hug made Bolt feel safe. She hasn't had that feeling in a long time. After almost five minutes of just hugging, Bolt finally let go. Mikey let go too. "Mikey?" "Yes?" "Can we meet each other again tomorrow night? Here?" "Sure. When?" Mikey asked. "When you can see the pizza in the sky...."
