TMNT 2012: A Lightning Bolt

Chapter 19: Fight Or Hide?

        Bolt followed the kraang droid. She entered a room with a dozen of kraang droids surrounding her. Bolt tried her best to show no emotion on her face like a mind-controlled person would. The kraang watched her every move. In front of Bolt, a monitor turned on. It showed kraang prime. Bolt got a bit scared at first, but then, that fear turned into anger. Bolt thought that she feared kraang prime but she actually wasn't scared but angry. Angry that kraang prime wanted her fo the kraang's plan. Angry that she can't live a normal life. Angry that she has to live her life in secret. If kraang prime or the kraang never came to New York City, she would never have to live her life in a secret, she would never live her life in fear, and she would be able to go back home to her family.

        Kraang Prime stared at Bolt for a few seconds, then began to speak. "Kraang orders you to find the one known as the turtles!" Kraang Prime said. Bolt was confused. Why would they want the turtles? "Kraang needs the one known as turtles so the one known as turtles will not try to destroy kraang's plans! Kraang orders the one known as Bolt to find the one known as turtles and bring them to kraang alive or dead!" Kraang Prime ordered. The monitor turned off. A kraang droid opened the door for Bolt. Bolt walked out the door. The same kraang droid that opened the door followed Bolt. Bolt started walking down the hall when she saw a room that was labeled: Computer Room. Bolt walked to the room and opened the door. "Kraang ordered the one known as Bolt to capture the turtles." The kraang droid said to Bolt. Bolt panicked. She didn't see the kraang droid follow her. Then, Bolt had an idea. "But, the one known as the turtles is in this room." Bolt said to the droid. The droid grabbed it's gun and entered the room. Bolt followed. Bolt electrocuted the kraang droid. The squid brain popped out. It squealed at Bolt. Bolt grabbed the kraang, brain by it's tentacles and held it upside down. "You really thought you could control me huh? Well, think again! I better put you in a safe place before you find another suit and tell your buddies about me." Bolt told the brain squid. It gave a worried face and kept squealing at Bolt. Bolt found a cardboard box and some tape in the room. Bolt put some holes in the box, and put the kraang inside and quickly closed it, and taped it. The kraang inside wasn't happy, but it couldn't get out. Bolt smiled and went to the computer. Luckily, the computer didn't need any hacking. Bolt looked into files but half of them she couldn't understand. Then, she found a file. Inside was a bunch of information on kraang's plans. Bolt read the document in shock. The gist of the document was, that kraang had a machine that would take away Bolt's energy to power up the kraang droid maker and make the portals open and stay open. This machine was in......... Dimension X! Bolt had been in Dimension X before but only for about an hour. She found a portal in TCRI and entered it and found herself there. Bolt hated the place, yet she did have fun messing around with different gravity laws. Bolt knew what she had to do to stop kraang's plan's. All of the portals, the kraang maker, and the machine that took away Bolt's energy was in the same building Dimension X. If she blew it up kraang's plan will fail! Bolt needed to get the information to the turtles!

        Bolt grabbed the box the kraang, brain-squid thing was in and carried it to the exit with her. There was a few kraang droids on the way but they thought she was being controlled and was doing her mission of capturing the turtles. When Bolt got outside she could finally put some emotion on her face. Bolt smiled and went to the closest manhole. "Can't wait till the guys here about this!" Bolt said excitedly.

        

        The turtles, April, Casey, and Crystal were packing up to go to TCRI. "So, you sure Bolt is in TCRI?" April asked. "Positive!" Leo said. "Alright, then, let's head out!" Casey said. The turtles, Casey, Crystal, and April left the lair and went towards the closets manhole. But, they heard noise. The group hid and Leo looked around the corner. He saw Bolt coming down the manhole, carrying a box. Leo smiled, then he noticed something horrible, A kraang mind controller was on her neck!  "Oh, no!" Leo whispered. The rest of the group looked and gasped. Casey and Crystal had no idea what the thing on Bolt's neck was. "It's a mind- controller. Bolt's being mind-controlled!" April whispered to them. "No!" Crystal whispered. "Raph, you hold down Bolt while I get the mind controller off of her!" Donnie whispered. Bolt got off the ladder and heard Donnie's voice.

        Bolt heard something.....was it Donnie? "NOW!" She heard Leo yell. Raph came out from a corner and ran at me. "What are you doing?!" Bolt yelled dodging him. Raph started attacking Bolt. Bolt was shocked, but she noticed Raph wasn't doing it with his sais, just his hands. And he wasn't really hitting her, just trying to grab his arms. Leo and Mikey came in and started doing the same. Bolt tried her best to dodge them. 'Why are they attacking me?!' Bolt though "Bolt! Please let us help you! Don't let the kraang control you!" Crystal said. Bolt realized that they saw the mind-controller on her neck and thought she was being controlled. "I'm not being controlled!" Bolt yelled. Raph managed to tackle Bolt. "OW!" Bolt said. Bolt did a light zap on Raph. "OW!!" Raph said jumping up. Bolt grabbed the mind control piece on her neck and pulled it out and showed it to everyone and yelled, "I'M NOT BEING MIND CONTROLLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also, OW! Did you really have to tackle me that hard!" Bolt said holding her head. "Sorry, I thought you were being controlled." Raph apologized. "Bolt!" Leo, Mikey, and Crystal said hugging Bolt. "I'm so glad you're okay!" Crystal said. "Me too!" Mikey said. "What happened, are you hurt?" Leo asked. "I'm fine, and I got valuable information. Bolt looked at Donnie and saw Donnie looking at Bolt in shock. "How the shell were you not mind controlled........????" Donnie asked. "I don't know brainiac why don't you tell me? Aren't you the smart one?" Bolt joked. Casey and Raph giggled. Bolt got out of the hug but was still the center of attention. "What's in that box?" April asked. Bolt grabbed it. "Hey Casey, why don't you open it?" Bolt said handing it to him. "Sweet!" He said. Casey rapidly ripped the tape and opened the box. The kraang squid-brain inside squealed and jumped on Casey's face. Casey screamed and ran around yelling, "GET IT OFF ME!!!!!!!" He kept yelling and repeating. Everyone started laughing. "Alright, Alright Casey hold still!" Bolt said. Casey did what he was told and Bolt did a light zap on the kraang and the kraang fell of, squealed, and squirmed away. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Casey yelled at Bolt. "For fun, and because you whacked Crystal in the head with a hockey puck." Bolt said. "You're still on that?!" Casey asked. "Yeah, but now, revenge has served and it was hilarious!" Bolt laughed. Casey growled and crossed his arms. "So, anyway, let's get back to the lair so you can tell us what happened!" Leo said. "Sure thing!" Bolt said. The group walked to the lair. Once there, they sat down and Bolt started to tell them what happened.

       

        Right before Bolt was about to tell everyone what happened, Donnie stood up. "I got it!" He said pointing up a finger. "Got what?" Mikey asked. "Why Bolt didn't get controlled! The mind controller needs to hit a nerve so it can connect to your brain to control you. But when the mind controller hit your nerve, the nerve sent a bolt of electricity up to the controller making it malfunction!" Donnie said. "So let me get this straight. I can't get mind controlled....because of my mutation?" Bolt asked. "Precisely!" Donnie said. "That's great! Now you can't get controlled!" April said. "Shell yeah!" Mikey said with a smile pumping his fist in the air. "Awesome! Okay, so this is what happened. When I woke up in a TCRI cell, I noticed the doors were open and my metal rod was near me and the controller was on my neck. I figured that they think I was being mind controlled and so I acted like I was. Then, Kraang Prime told me to try to capture you guys so you wouldn't get into there way of there plan. When I was leaving, I found a computer room, but a kraang droid followed me in there. I destroyed the kraang droid but put the squid thing in the box and got on the computer. I found out that kraang have everything set up in one building! So, if we blow it up we can destroy everything and their plan will fail! But there's one problem. It's in Dimension X! So I have a plan on how to get there and everything! All I need to do is...." Bolt said but Leo interrupted her. "Is to stay here! It's too dangerous!" Leo cut in. "Look, I can take care of myself! I am done hiding from them! Either you're with me or against me! You can fight like ninjas or hide in your shells!" Bolt said. "I'm with you!" Mikey said standing up. "Me too!" Crystal said. "Me three!" April said. "Count me in but I'm still getting you back for that kraang thing!" Casey said. Raph and Donnie stood up and nodded there heads and got there weapons out. Bolt looked at Leo. Leo stood. "Alright, count me in too!" He said. "Okay, here's the plan!" Bolt said.
