TMNT 2012: A Lightning Bolt

More About Bolt!

Hey Guys! So, I'm going to give you some information on Bolt that might help you understand my sequel! I first was to start off with Bolt's mask!

 

        So, you know how Bolt ALWAYS wears a mask? The only time she took it off in the story, was when she was with Crystal, and when Crystal and her met (When Bolt and Crystal met she didn't even have a mask.) So, you're probably wondering why she doesn't let anyone see her face below her eyes except for Crystal. Well, you know how when Bolt got mutated there were cut wires dangling from the ceiling? Well, when she got mutated, a wire hit her on her face..........leaving scars. It left a dark brown yet pinkish scar that went to her chin, to the top of her cheek. It made two streaks that intersected and made a big X. When she met Crystal, it was only a week after her mutation. Bolt thought the scar made her look cool and tuff. When she met Crystal she never had a mask and never even thought to put one on. During that week, she never went out because she had to coop with her powers. After a week she knew how to mostly control them, and found out that her powers go haywire if she gets wet. After a couple of days of meeting Crystal, she learned how to completely control her powers and decide to go outside....... during the day.........without a mask. Wherever she went people stared at her like she was a criminal. They weren't judging her by what she was doing, but by her scar. Bolt felt really bad about herself thinking people would treat her the same with the scar. Wherever she went everyone stared. Bolt had enough of it and decided to keep a mask on wherever she is. The only one she actually showed her face to was Crystal since she already knew what she looked like. She doesn't let the her friends see her without a mask since she is nervous of how they will think.

        Okay, you probably are wondering, why Bolt changed her name to Bolt. Well, she wanted to change it after she got a mask. She wanted to change her name so no one can trace her back to her family. She didn't want to see them at the time, and she still hated them. So, she changed her name based on her new powers. That's why her name is Bolt. She loved her new identity as Bolt, not Phoebe Underwood. But, when she began to realize she missed her family and she should have never left, she felt ashamed and could never go back. After that she kept the name Bolt because it really WAS her NEW identity!  Phoebe Underwood was just a normal girl, who lived in a small quiet town and went to ninjistu class everyday and got bullied, and lived in the shadow of her brother. But Bolt was not a normal girl, who lived in NYC, fought the kraang, had awesome powers, and had the best friends in the world! So, she kept the name.

 

Alright guys! That's it for now, so if you want for me to explain Bolt more or other characters I'll be more than happy too! This is it for TMNT 2012: A Lightning Bolt   and I will make the sequel: TMNT 2012: The Storm Rises    later today, after I finish drawing the cover. I have a really cool idea for the cover I just hope it comes out right since I'm not the best drawer but it will go perfect with the story!  Alright hope you all enjoyed!
