Chapter 12: A Really Long Sleepover

        Mikey runs to Bolt's home. He tries calling and texting her but she wouldn't respond back. Mikey got in and started looking around. Bolt wasn't anywhere. Mikey yelled for Bolt but still no answer. Finally, Mikey gave up. Then, he had an idea.

        "What are you doing?" Crystal asked Donnie. "I'm trying to get the coordinates from Bolt's T-phone so we can find her location." Donnie replied. "That won't work. Bolt probably will know that you would do that so she probably left it somewhere or turned it off, or both." Crystal said. "Well, what else are we going to do then?" Donnie asked. "I don't know...This is all my fault!" Crystal blurted out. "What do you mean?" "Well, the other night Bolt and I had a fight. I told her that she was being stupid for going to the kraang so often and that she was going to caught. She said somethings and I said somethings back and then she stormed off. The next day she visited me like the fight never happened. She's been a little on edge since then. It's all of my fault!" Crystal said hiding her face with her hands. Donnie came up to Crystal. "No it's not. Bolt has just had it rough lately. If anything, it's my fault. I'm the one who opened the file when she told me not too. That's why she ran off!" Donnie argued. "I just feel like a bad friend..... do you think she is okay? I would kill myself if anything happened to her!" Crystal asked worried. "She'll be fine! I promise." Donnie reassured. "Okay, I'm just worried, she'll be fine...." Crystal said to herself. Donnie saw the worry in Crystal's face. Donnie extended his hands and hugged Crystal. Crystal's worries washed away and she hugged Donnie back. "Thanks Donnie. You're a good friend." They both let go. "Now, let's go find Bolt!"

        

        Mikey ran as fast as he could. "Just a few buildings away. She'll be there. She'll be there!" Mikey said to himself. Then, finally Mikey reached the building he and Bolt have been going to every night. "Bolt?" Mikey said hoping for an answer. He saw a light brown haired head pop up behind a air vent. "Um....Hi...." Bolt said awkwardly. "Why'd you run away? We have been looking everywhere for ya!" Mikey said. "I'm sorry..... I just didn't want to be there when you guys found out...." Bolt whispered. "Hey, it's okay dude!" Mikey said. "No it's not. I didn't tell you guys sooner. I didn't even tell Crystal. I feel horrible. I wanted to tell someone but, I just couldn't." Bolt said. "What happened when you were captured by the kraang?" Mikey asked sitting down next to Bolt. "Well, after I got mutated I passed out and the kraang caged me. Apparently they had security cameras set up. I tried to break out a couple of times but it didn't work since I couldn't control my powers. Then one day, Kraang Prime, came up on a screen when I was in my cell. She told me that I was going to do what kraang told them very soon and then the screen turned off. Then, after that I woke up I was chained down to a platform and they were carrying a device towards me. Kraang Prime was on the screen laughing. I got so scared that my powers exploded. Everything was in ruins and so I just ran out as fast as I could." Bolt said to Mikey. "I'm so sorry." Mikey said. "It's okay." "But, you didn't have to lie." Mikey said to Bolt. "What do you mean? I don't lie!" Bolt said angrily. "Yeah, you did! When you told me and my brothers that you didn't know what the kraang were missing in there plan!" "I don't!" "Yes you do! You know they need you to complete there plan! Why didn't you tell us?!" Mikey said almost yelling. Bolt froze and she turned pale. "Because.....I didn't know.....They need me? Why?.....No that can't be right!" Bolt said getting nervous. "Wait, you seriously didn't know?" Mikey asked. "If I knew, I wouldn't even be in town right now! I would've gotten out of the city as fast as I could so the kraang couldn't go through with their plan!" Bolt yelled. "Okay, okay. Calm down dude! I'll call my brothers and April and Casey and tell them where we are. Alright?" Mikey asked calming Bolt down. Bolt nodded her head. Mikey called everyone and they decided they would all meet in the lair.

        At the lair, Mikey and Bolt were the last ones there. Once Crystal saw Bolt she hugged her. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Kinda." Bolt said. "Why didn't you tell us?!" Raph yelled at Bolt. "I didn't know the kraang needed me for there plan okay! I know I should have told all of you about me being a prisoner at TCRI but I just don't like talking about it okay?! I get nightmares a lot about it. So, if you don't mind please don't bring it up." Bolt asked everyone. "I don't blame ya! If anything like that happened to me I would probably havin' nightmares too!" Casey said. " I guess I'm not the only one wanted by the kraang." April said. Bolt was surprised. No one was mad at her for keeping that big secret. She was happy that they understood. "Well, I better get going home. I'm tired." Bolt said leaving. Leo grabbed Bolt's arm. "We don't think that's a good idea." Leo said. "Why not?" Bolt asked. "Well, we all discussed it over and we think it's a better idea if you stay in the lair with us so the kraang can't find you. We even asked Master Splinter and he thought it was a good idea." Leo said. "Wait, let me get this straight. You want me to stay here in the smelly sewers with you guys and not go back to my home at all? You don't think I can protect myself? Come on Crystal, you think I'm right, right?" Bolt said. "Well, we all agreed that it would be safer for you if you stay hidden for a while...." Crystal said. "Mikey do you agree with them?" Bolt turned to Mikey trying to get someone on her side. "Well....... It would be safer for you......" He said. "You all think this way?!" Bolt asked shocked. Everyone slowly nodded there heads. Bolt sighed. ".....Fine...." Bolt finally agreed. "Don't worry Bolt, I'll come every night and visit you guys!" Crystal said. "Don't worry Bolt, you'll love it here!" April said. Soon, Crystal, April, and Casey left. Bolt sighed again. "Don't worry Bolt. Just think of it as a really long sleepover!" Mikey said trying to cheer Bolt up. It didn't work. Raph came out with a few blankets and a pillow. "You're going to have to sleep on the couch since we have no other rooms." Raph said. Bolt mumbled something under her breath and then said 'thank you' to Raph and set the blankets and the pillow on the couch. Bolt crawled on the couch and covered herself with a blanket. "Aren't ya gonna take off your mask?" Mikey asked hoping he can see her without it. "Nice try but no. I would normally but in the situation no. Good night Mikey." Bolt said still with both eyes closed. Mikey sighed. "Good night."
