Chapter 24: Blushes, Kisses, Smiles, and Family

Last Chapter!!!!! Thank You for all of the support through this story! But the story will continue in the sequel: Voltage: The Storm Rises   !!!!! Also, instead of making a Epilogue, I decided to make a page that will tell you more about Bolt, like why she always wears a mask and what she thought, and felt when she ran away from home. Now without further a do, here is the last chapter!

 

        Mikey turned on some music and everyone started dancing! After a few moments, Donnie pulled Crystal into his lab. "Okay....what's going on?" Crystal asked him confused. "I wanted to talk to you." Donnie told Crystal. Crystal blushed. She knew what he wanted to talk about. "What's there to talk about?" Crystal asked awkwardly. "Well, someone told me that, even though I might like someone else, I should give.....us... a shot anyway. Because, maybe if we do, I might forget that I like Apr- I mean that other person!" Donnie said stumbling over his words. Crystal blushed more which made Donnie blush. "Well.....I guess if you want to give it a shot, I should too." Crystal said still blushing. "Crystal......would you like to go out with me?" Donnie asked. "It would be my pleasure!"

        Mikey was dancing away until Leo pulled him away for a bit. "What's up dude?" He asked. "You really like her do you?" Leo asked. Mikey blushed. "Yeah....I really do...." Mikey said looking at Bolt dance. "Well, I won't stand in your way. She means more to you than she does to me." Leo said. Mikey stared at his brother. "Really dude?!" He asked. "Really." Leo said smiling. "Thanks dude! Your awesome!" Mikey said hugging his brother and then making his way back to the dance floor towards Bolt. Leo smiled at his brother being happy.

        Bolt was dancing away to her heart's content. Why shouldn't she? She was suppose to die but she came back to life, the kraang aren't going to invade, and she was going to see her family again! The only downside is that, Bolt lost her powers today from the kraang's machine. But, she understood that the last bit of her powers were used to bring her back to life and she was thankful for that. Bolt saw Mikey dancing with her. Bolt smiled at Mikey. Mikey smiled back. "Hey, Goofball." Bolt said. Mikey smiled more. "Hey." "Can I talk to you for a second?" Bolt asked. Mikey stopped dancing. "Yeah, sure dude!" Mikey said as the two walked into Mikey's room where it was quiet. "Thank you for keeping your promise. I wouldn't be here without you." Bolt said. Mikey blushed. "No problem. I would cry on your arm all the time if that meant it would keep you alive!" Mikey joked. Bolt giggled. "Thanks for not letting me down." Bolt said hugging Mikey. Mikey blushed and hugged back. Mikey looked into Bolt's beautiful blue eye. Bolt stared into his. Mikey leaned in closer to Bolt. He couldn't help it. Once they were a centimeter apart Mikey stopped. He couldn't kiss her with her mask on! Now, this was just embarrassing. Mikey did a little giggle and blushed. Bolt just smiled. Bolt grabbed the edge of her mask. With Bolt's other hand, she covered Mikey's eyes. Mikey and Bolt both leaned in closer and kissed. Mikey heard sparks go off in his head and he smiled through the kiss. So did Bolt. After a few moments, the kiss ended, and Bolt uncovered Mikey's eyes and Mikey saw Bolt wearing her mask smiling and blushing. They both awkwardly started laughing. After they stopped laughing silence started to creep in. Luckily, Bolt broke it. "I......I am leaving with my family....." Bolt sadly said. Mikey didn't want to hear this but he knew it was going to happen. "I know...... promise you'll come back?" Mikey asked with his sad little puppy eyes. Bolt looked at Mikey like he was insane. "Of course! I could never forget about you guys! I can't have an epic adventure with you guys and not come back for another one! I would be insane!" Bolt said. Mikey smiled, but he was a bit confused. "What about.......us? What happens when you leave?" Mikey asked. "We can text, and call. We can have a long distance relationship...... I'll try if you will...." Bolt said. Mikey smiled and nodded. Bolt extended her hand and Mikey took it. They walked out of Mikey's room and into the living room holding hands. Then, a slow dance song came on. Bolt looked at who did it and saw Crystal at the radio. Crystal giggled and waved them on to continue. Everyone was staring at them, even Master Splinter. Bolt was a little anxious. But, when she faced Mikey and his warm hearted smile, her anxiety melted away. Mikey put his hands around Bolt's waist and Bolt put her hands around Mikey's shoulders.....well, the tip of his shell. They slowly swayed to the music. Mikey, guided Bolt to do soft twirls and no one stepped on each other's foot! It was perfect. When the song ended, they just stared into each other's eyes and smiled. "Well, if those two aren't lovebirds I don't know who is!" Raph laughed. Mikey and Bolt and everyone else laughed with him. Bolt jumped up with an idea. She ran to her bag and rummaged through it. She pulled out her camera. "Come on everyone join in!" Bolt said. Everyone got into one big bunch and smiled for the camera. The guys in the back, girls in the front, and Master Splinter was on the side but still in view of the camera. "Say turtles!" Bolt laughed. "TURTLES!" Everyone shouted smiling. Bolt took the perfect picture and saved it to her camera. When she looked back at she smiled. She would save it forever.
