Chapter 10: Family

Donnie woke up at his computer. It was morning. He looked at the screen and saw the kraang files....still locked. He fell asleep when he could have been working. He heard his stomach growl. He decided to get some food and then see what he could do. He went to the kitchen and saw his brothers watching television. "What up bro?" Mikey said with pizza in his mouth. Donnie rolled his eyes. "Not good. I still can't open those files." Donnie told his brothers. "You said you could hack into it by morning!" Leo whined. "Well, I'm sorry, do YOU want to try to hack into kraang files?" Donnie asked. Leo stayed silent. "That's what I thought!" Donnie said. "Well, can you just hurry up with it then?!" Raph yelled at Donnie. Donnie went into the kitchen, grabbed a slice of cold pizza and left for his lab. "Hey, I've been thinking...." Mikey said. "Well, that's not good!" Raph joked. Mikey gave a look towards Raph. "I've been thinking that we should let Bolt into the lair and give her a T-phone since she doesn't have one and," "Are you nuts!? We can't let her into the lair! What if she tells someone about it?" Raph yelled. "I like Mikey's idea." Leo said. Mikey and Raph gave a confused look towards Leo. "Really?" Mikey asked. "Yeah, plus who is she going to tell? She obviously only knows Crystal and Crystal seems trustworthy. Plus, she hasn't been telling us everything about herself so maybe if we give her more information about us, she will give us more information about her." Leo said. "OR we could just let her in the lair and give her a T-phone because we trust her. Right?" Mikey asked. "Come on Mikey you got to think realistically!" Leo said. "I AM!" "Just go tell Donnie to get a T-phone!" Raph told Mikey. Luckily, Donnie had a extra T-phone just in case Mikey broke his.....again. Mikey waited till sunset to get to the building Bolt and him met the night before. Mikey waited and watched the sun go down.....down.....down until he saw little glowing specks in the night in the shape of a pizza. "You got here early." A voice said behind him. He looked behind him to see it was Bolt in her mask and fighting outfit. "I got a surprise for you." Mikey said. Bolt seemed interested. "You got me something? Why?" Bolt asked sitting next to Mikey. "Because!" Mikey said with a goofy smile. Mikey handed the T-phone to Bolt. Bolt looked at Mikey. "A phone? I never had one before." Bolt said. "Well, now you do! And you come to the lair!" Mikey announced. "Really? Your brothers trust me that much?" Bolt asked him. Mikey knew that his brothers didn't trust Bolt, they just wanted information from her. He didn't want to lie to her. "Well, the truth is that......well.....my brothers...." Mikeys just couldn't get the words out. "Mikey, I get it. Your brothers just want me to give more information about me to them. Right?" Bolt asked. "How'd you know?!" Mikey asked very confused. "Because I would do the same thing. So how do you use this thing?" Bolt asked. Mikey showed Bolt how to use the T-phone and that Mikey was on speed dial and him, his brothers, April, and Casey were in her contacts. "Thanks so much Mikey! So has Donnie hacked into those kraang files yet?" Bolt asked. "Nah, not yet. I'll call you when he does." Mikey said. Then, there was a silence, and more silence. "My brother." Bolt said. "What?" Mikey asked. "You asked me who you remind me of. You remind me of my brother." Bolt said. "You have a brother?! You have a family?!" Mikey asked confused. "Everyone has a family." "Then, why aren't you with them?" "Because." "Because why?" "Because....I...." Bolt couldn't finish her sentence. "You don't have to tell me." Mikey said. Bolt looked at Mikey and smiled. "I'll tell you but you have to promise not tell anyone!" Bolt said. "I promise!" Mikey replied. "Okay, good. Well, I have an older brother named Martin. I always called him Mars because he would always talk about space and look out in his telescope at night. My dad alwaysed worked and my mom was always on business trips. My brother practically had to raise me on his own. By the time I was 7 no one paid any attention to me. I started acting up in class hoping my parents would notice me then. but all they did was send me to my room not saying a word. Then, I decided that they really didn't care for me. So I then, I took it up a notch. If they told me to empty the dish washer, I would either leave them alone or put them all in the sink. They told me to clean my room, I would dump clothes and trash every where. I wouldn't do my homework and purposely failed test and quizzes. Still, no changes. When I turned 13 I finally told my parents how I felt. I told them that I hate them, and I wished that I was never born, I didn't need them, and I told them they don't care about me and I never cared about them. After I said those awful things I ran away from home. I kept running. I found this city and I stayed." Bolt said. "Wow. Why didn't you ever go back?" Mikey asked. "How could I? I told them I hated them. And I am a mutant. They would never accept me again." Bolt said. Mikey's T-phone buzzed. He answered it. "Okay, good, on our way." Mikey said throughout the phone call. "Donnie hacked into the kraang files! Come on let's go!" Mikey said grabbing Bolt's arm and heading towards the sewers.

Author's Note: So, Bolt did have a family and Bolt trusted mikey enough to tell him about it! Will their relationship hit the next level? Anyway, Sorry I'm late but I'll make Chapter 11 either tonight or tomorrow! I can't beleive it is chapter 10 already!!!! YAY!!!! Thanks for anyone who reads my story!! It means a lot to me!
