*LAURENS POV*
I walked into school and decided I would tell Jack today. It'd been a few days since we last talked. Yesterday i received a letter saying I got an audition.
After school I walked towards Jacks car and got inside.
"Jack I know you hate me right now..." He cut me off before I could finish.
"I don't, never will and never could hate you" he said sitting back in his seat.
"I applied to a college in New York City." I waited for his response.
He just breathed in heavily.
"I got an audition" I said.
"Get out" he said with no emotion in his voice.
"What" I said purely shocked.
"Get. Out" he said looking at me.
I got out and walked towards Amber.
*JACKS POV*
I realized once again what id just done after I had done it. I started crying the second she closed the door. I was so happy for her, so incredibly happy. I just didn't want to see her go.
I looked over as a girl with black hair got in the car.
"What the fuck are you doing Beth?" I said getting annoyed.
"Nothing" she said playing with my shirt
"Get the fuck out Beth I'm not in the mood" she just sat there.
I drove off not wanting to deal with Beth's shit right now.
I walked into my house and as I attempted to close the door Beth slipped in. I tried getting her out multiple times, she wouldn't budge.
*LAURENS POV*
I decided I wasn't gonna get anywhere just being sad all day. I drove to Jacks house to say sorry and hopefully finish this art project display that we had to present in less than a week.
I pulled into Jacks driveway and got out. I walked into his house and my heart shattered.
He was standing in the middle of his living room kissing Beth.
*JACKS POV*
Beth shoved me up against the wall as I tried to push her out of my house. She started kissing me and I tried to pull away but her grip was too tight. I heard the door open as Beth pulled back.
Lauren.
She looked destroyed. I realized how bad the situation looked and I couldn't even form words out of my mouth. She stood there frozen until she turned around and ran. I chased after her.
She drove to the treehouse and started running.
"Lauren stop!" I said yelling trying to catch up.
"Get the fuck away from me" she yelled
She climbed inside and started ripping out pages in her journal and then scratched out our names on the wood.
"YOU LIED YOU FUCKING LIED" she screamed barely being able to breath through the tears.
I tried to calm her down but she kept pushing me away.
"Lauren please calm down" I said.
"NO YOURE PATHETIC YOU LIED YOU FUCKING PROMISED WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" she said throwing the promise ring id gave her.
I sat in my corner and just watched her.
I did that.
I told her I would never do that.
And here we are.
"I hate you" she whispered
"You don't mean that Lauren" I said getting choked up.
"No I mean it. I hate you. Get away from me and don't fucking come here again" she said yelling.
"I can explain please" I said
She just looked at me and I knew I should leave. I walked out of the woods and to my car.
