What Do I Do?

Nicole's POV

Fire.

This shouldn't be happening.
Keeping my hair in an elastic is supposed to keep it subdued. It always has. Why not now?

I panic even more as it won't go away.
I haven't stopped screaming since the simulation stopped, and now I'm screaming louder because this is happening.

'Control it! Control it!' I told myself.
It wasn't big enough to catch anything on fire, but I promised myself I'd never use it again after what happened.

I hear a banging on my door.
"Nicole?!?" they all kept yelling.

I kept screaming as I hear the door trying to be opened.

"Donnie, go get the keys!" I heard Leo yell.

'I have to stop, or someone's gonna see!'

I clenched my fists as hard as I could.
The fire didn't go away, but it concealed it from sight.

The door opened, and I was bombarded by hugs.

"Shhhhh, your okay now, your safe." Leo cooed.

After about 10 minutes they were able to calm me down and the flame went away, so I opened my hands.

"I'm so sorry we made you go through that." Leo said.

"I told you it was a bad idea." Raph said.

"Can we ask you something?" Donnie asked.

I nodded my head.

"Why do you think that's how we'll react if we find out your secret?" he asked.

"Cuz my secret is not normal."

"No one's secret is." Leo said.

"No. I'm almost 100% sure that I'm the only one in the world who has this problem." I replied.

"I'm sure that's not true." Donnie said.

"I know for a fact it is." I said.

"Can you tell us what it is?" Mikey asked softly.

I shook my head.

"I'll tell you when I'm comfortable with it." I said.

"Okay. We won't push it." Leo said.

"Thank you." I said.

"I'm gonna take Nicole home, guys." April said.

"Okay, see ya, April!" Donnie said, "And you too, Nicole."

TIME SKIP 1 DAY

Me and April are heading to the lair to go see the guys. I really hope they don't bring up yesterday, I really don't feel like talking about it.

April found something and said we needed to tell the guys.

When we got to the lair, Donnie was standing in front of a Space Heroes poster with his brothers in front of him.

"Guys!" April yelled.

"H-H-Hey, April." Donnie said.

"You guys gotta check this out." she said as she opened her laptop on a table and a video played.

"Renowned neuro-chemist, Dr. Tyler Rockwell has been reported missing. I spoke with Rockwell's collegue, Dr. Victor Falco." Said a reporter.

"I hadn't heard from him in days, so I stopped by his lab. The place was a mess, he was gone. I... fear the worst." Falco said.

"Police say they have-" the reporter started to say, but April shut the laptop.
