My Secret is Revealed

Nicole's POV

For the past few weeks, the guys have been training with Master Splinter almost non-stop.

Even though April and I are always there, it's like we hardly ever see them.

I miss them.

I miss Leo being his leader-like self, I miss Raph's anger issues, I miss Donnie correcting me every time I make a grammar or science mistake, and I miss Mikey trying to prank me and play video games with me.

Since the guys are stuck down there, April and I decided to take matters into our own hands.

We duck-taped a walkie-talkie to the bottom of a pizza box, dressed up as guys, and knocked on the door of the place the Purple Dragons hang out.

One of them opened it.

"Hey..." April said in a deep voice,

"Did, uh, somebody order a totally delicious pizza?"

"No. Beat it." He said.

"Are ya sure? I mean... the guy who paid on the phone gave us this address..." I said, "or, was it a block over? I'm so confused."

We started to turn away.

"Ohhh, that pizza. Yeah. That's us." He said as he took it out of April hands and slammed the door in our faces.

Perfect.

April took out her phone and started syncing it to the walkie-talkie.

"Check it out, free pizza!" One of them said.

"Gotcha!" April whisper yelled.

We got back to the lair and headed to the dojo.

The guys were talking.

"Exactly. So until we're ready, we stay down here." We heard Leo say.

"Unfortunately, that's not an option." April said as we walked in.

We went into the pit and called Splinter in.

She turned on her phone app.

"We're meeting Shredder tonight. He's gotta plan to destroy the turtles." One of them said.

"How? He doesn't know where they are." Another one said.

"He says they're in the sewers, somewhere, and that's all he needs to know to wipe them out." The first one said.

April turned off the app.

"Our home is no longer safe," Splinter said, "The Shredder must be stopped."

"How do we stop a plan we don't even know?" Leo asked.

I turned around and saw Mikey aiming a water balloon at Leo.

Leo noticed and threw a knife at it and popped it.

"We have to go topside and find out what they're planning." Raph said.

"Raph's right. There's no other way." Leo said.

And with that, they left.

After the guys left, I went to my room. I heard them come back. I decided not to go out.

I've been wondering whether or not I should trust them enough to tell them my secret.
