"This is what you had mine?" Ten asked Si Cheng, who was handing the lady their pair of shoes for the skating rental.
Si Cheng turned around to give him a look. "Come on, Ten, I know you like skating."
"Uh, yeah, you don't."
Si Cheng rolled his eyes, taking the two pairs of skates the lady handed him and thanked her. "Then teach me, bitch."
"Fine. Don't sue me when you break your kneecaps." He grabbed the smaller pair of skates. "Hope you fall," he sneered.
Ten was surely going to be dramatic today. He always acted this way when he was in a bad mood, but Si Cheng knew that the other didn't mean it. It looks bad, but that's what you get when your friendship consists of 20% insults.
They sat down on one of the benches, the two of them quietly tying up the laces on the skates. As soon as Si Cheng got up to stand, though, his feet rolled forward and fell backwards on his butt.
"Wow, we didn't even start yet," Ten mocked at him.
Si Cheng winced at the pain, rubbing his side as he turned to look at Ten. "Ten, not now. I know you're hurt but I'm trying."
"Sorry." Ten stood up and, unlike Si Cheng, who was now walking on his knees, didn't lose balance. "You better not get bruises, I know you hate wearing foundation."
"Oh, Jesus Christ, Ten, help me get up before I snitch on you to my therapist," Si Cheng whined, holding both his hands out for Ten to grab.
"Honey, looking at me solves people's problems, I put therapists out of business," Ten said, whipping his imaginary long hair.
"Yeahhhhhh that's not how it works but okay." Si Cheng pushed himself off the ground when Ten pulled him up. He almost slipped and grabbed onto Ten's shoulders, falling on his knees. "Goddammit."
"Does your therapist like Yuta?" Ten asked, putting his arms under Si Cheng's armpits and pulling him up. "Oh, Jesus."
"She does. Ah shit, that reminds me." When Si Cheng got on his feet, he held his arms out, not wanting to lose his balance again. "You gotta help me take nudes."
Ten's eyes almost bulged out of his sockets. "Did I just hear that correctly?"
"Tease me and I'm leaving you here to skate alone," Si Cheng warned him.
"One, you dragged me here, two, bitch you can't even move but ok." Ten stepped down into the rolling rink. "Can you even walk here?"
"Ten, please don't leave me standing."
Ten smiled really wide and skated away.
"COME BACK HERE CHITTAPHON LEECHAIYAPORNKUL!!!" Si Cheng yelled, causing him to fall backwards again.
Twelve minutes later, Si Cheng found himself using the skating aids, hunched over as he skated slowly, Ten skating backwards in front of Si Cheng.
"Looks like we're gonna have to start at the kid level," Ten said, moving to Sicheng's left following the curve. Si Cheng didn't make the turn in time, so he ran into the wall.
Ten skated to where Si Cheng was and lifted him up. "Can you stop falling down?"
"Yes, Ten, I'm obviously doing this for comedy gold so that a few readers can have a laugh." Si Cheng picked up the skating aid and set it on the ground again. "You're not teaching me shit. you're just showing off."
"Okay, I had my share of the spotlight." Ten put his hand against the wall, leaning on it so that he could raise a foot. "See this thing here? Whenever you want to stop, just lean on this. Not too much though or you'll fall forward." Ten skated slowly in front of Si Cheng and stopped, just like he had instructed. "You can do this, Winwin."
