KUYA

Napabalikwas ako sa kama ng may lumandag sa paanan ko.

"Hey, wake up!" hinila ni Mia ang comforter ko pababa.

Ayaw ko ang paraan ng paggising niya. Nakakainis sa umaga. Everytime I see her face in the morning, I wanted to sleep forever. Kidding aside.

"Kagabi pa ako kinocontact ni Mommy para umuwi," saad niya habang winawagayway niya ang kanyang Cellphone. "Nando'n na din ang Mommy mo kasama si Kenken at asawa ni Kuya Kurt kahapon."

It's a miracle that my Mom and my Kuya isn't busy with their work. Should I celebrate?

I noticed that she is dressed up already. She's wearing white floral crop top and white floral skirt. Her hair is short curly black. Ayos na ayos naman.

"And nag message si Thunder sa'kin na sumabay daw tayo sakanila, kasi uuwi rin sila sa Laguna."

We celebrated Christmas and New year's eve with Autie Amethyst and Mia. Wala kasi silang kasama. Sa Pampanga kami nag celebrate ng Christmas and New year's eve ay sa Laguna. Bumalik kami dito sa apartment para mag ayos ng gamit at maglinis.

Today is Saturday, and today is the opening of parades of Coconut Festival in San Pablo. I'm sure that Auntie Amethyst will conduct a celebration. It is one week celebrations.

"Actually kanina pa sila nasa baba," my eyes went big. What?

"Bakit hindi mo sinabi agad?"  I  arrange my bed. I walk fast in my closet to get my duffle bag. Naglagay ako ng damit na pwede kong dalhin. Dumiretso ako sa banyo at kumaripas sa banyo para maligo agad.

Sasabay kami sakanila? For real? I can't imagine. I blow dry my hair. I use my press powder and my maroon brown lipstick. I wear my sleeveless floral dress above the knee and white flat shoes.

I manage my self to walk slowly, maybe they are waiting. It's not maybe, it's for sure.

"Sarado ngayon ang bayan kaya sa riles ang daan natin," I'm sure it's Clarence voice.

"Panigurado 'yan, maraming stalls ang mga nakapaligid at nakatayo bago ang pagdadusan ng parade," dagdag ni Mia

I slowly put down my bag in the couch. Nakatalikod ang tatlo sa'kin nakaharap naman si Mia sa'kin. There's another girl sitting beside Mia and she's drinking nutriboost, I guess. It's Cally!

"Finally, tapos ka na," tumayo sila at isa isang lumabas. I switch off the fuse. I was about to get my bag when Caleb lift it up, nagpatuloy siyang lumakad palabas. Nilagay niya ang bag ko sa compartment.

"Dyan ka na sumabay kanila Caleb, dito na ko para balance," ngumisi siya sa'kin. She wave her hand and open the door for shut gun seat.

I have no choice, he open the door for me. He held his hand in my hips and he guided me. I hate this feeling.

"Salamat," I said bluntly and without even looking at him.

I turn my head in the front seat. I can't still remember who is she. Only I know that I've seen her before.

I was staring blanky outside, napabuntong hininga ako sa kakaisip. Nakita ko sa screen na nag flash ang name ni Mama. I press the answer button.

"Ma?" I heard the loud music on her background. It's too nosy. Ang bilis naman ni Auntie maghanda.

"Where are you?"

"We're on the way Ma."

"Okay, take care," my Mom ended the call.
