I wake up with the sun hitting my face. I love being away from the city, there's something calming about being in this side of town. I turn around and Greg is not in bed. Where is he?

A few moments later I hear voices coming outside and I get up looking out the window. I spot Greg and Chris pulling a small boat approaching the water. Greg mentioned something about them going fishing in the morning, but I dozed off while he was telling me. I was really tired.

It's only 8:00 am so I decide to take a quick shower and make my way downstairs. "Good morning sweetheart, I've already made coffee" I thank Helen and take the coffee she poured for me. "Did you have a good night's sleep?" she asks. "I did thank you and  thank you for having me" I sip my coffee.

"Oh honey, Thank you. My son hasn't been this happy in a long time and since the day he told me about you, I could see the effect you have on him. Sinc-" She is cut off by Jude entering the Kitchen and followed by Scott. I wonder what she was going to say.

We all Chat and Helen scolds Scott for wanting coffee." Stick to your hot chocolate bud" she tells him while he pouts. "I want to take a swim" Jude says and looks at me. "Oh no I don't think so" Im not in the mood for swimming in the lake. No thanks.

"Granny I want to go too!" Scott pleas. After back and forth bickering I finally agree. When we get to the water I cringe at all the insects inside. "Come on stop being a granny and live a little!" she slashes the water. "I'm not a granny, I'm just thinking of all the things inside there!" Scott and Jude laugh at me.

I get in slowly and the water feels good. Soon I'm floating and actually having fun. "See, not bad at all" she smiles looking at me. I look around and don't see Scott. "Where's Scott?" I ask Jude. She looks around. "Scott?". "Scott!" we continue calling for him and he comes out of the water laughing at both of us. "Got you!" Jude and I splash him with water.
....

Greg and I decide to go for an evening walk just to have some alone time away from everyone. "My family loves you" he says with the biggest grin on his face. "They are nice people. I enjoy being around them" I tell him. We sit on a bench not far from the water.

"Thank you for agreeing to come with me" he says kissing my knuckles. I simply nod and sit back looking at the stars. "I love you Greg" I say for the first time. He is quiet for a while and I have to look at his face. "I love you Anna" he says and we kiss eachother.

Being with Greg feels safe. I love how we always talk about things and hardly ever argue. Im glad I gave this relationship a chance, because I've had learnt so much from him. It's true when they say "opposites attracts", because we are the complete opposites, but we somehow complete eachother.

After breaking from the kiss he has a wide grin. "I think Scott is planning to steal you away from me. That little peanut needs to know you're mine" he shakes his head, but I can tell he is joking. "He is such a gentleman, you need to be watch your back" I laugh while our foreheads are pressed together.

"Let's get going before they think we got abducted" he stands up and hold out his hand for me to hold it. We walk back to the lake house goofing and laughing like teenagers. Yeah, I really have fallen inlove with this man and I've fallen hard.
