The scariest part of letting people in-letting them out.
It takes you a while to get used to the idea that there's someone around whom you can let your guard down, who cares for you in ways you don't consider worthy of, who's there for you by choice, but that's okay.
You enjoy that time.
But when they go, either because of you or them, or you letting them go or anything, there's this hole they leave behind. Like they had crafted their space inside you, and now, it's empty. It's painful-the fact that you won't be dealing with this absence had you not allowed them in in the first place...
