The (Date)Dare~

No! This is not how the day is supposed to end. This is not what he has in mind! This is exactly the opposite of what he wants to happen today.

Today was supposed to be special, a memorable one! Well it is memorable considering what he is doing at the moment. He is running around the City, trying to find the love of his life. But no, he imagined a different memorable from this one.

Wei Wuxian was both excited and nervous. He still cannot believe that he's going on a date with Lan Wangji today. He got to spend the whole day with him! He can't stop smiling at that thought.

Yesterday, when he asked him out, he's not expecting the other man to accept his offer. He was prepared to be rejected and be heartbroken a little. But to his surprise, he actually said yes to him! He can't forget how the tip of his ears reddened and nod at his invitation.

He was dumbfounded for a moment, his gaze on the back of Lan Wangji's retreiving figure. He only turned to his friends when he snapped out of his surprise.

"Did he just say Yes?" He cannot hide his surprise on his voice, eyes still wide.

"Well a nod on Lan Wangji's dictionary is a "YES". So yeah, he did say yes to you." Nie Huiasang said to him.

"He said yes! Oh my gosh! I got a date with Lan Wangji!" He excitedly shouted, good thing they're the only one present right now. Not that he cares anyway. He just a got a date with his crush.

And now, he's in front of the Theme Park, waiting for him. The two decided to meet here today and go eat after they explore the whole place. Wei Wuxian cannot keep still on his place, sometimes looking up and search the sea of people if Lan Wangji arrived already.

He was scrolling on his phone when he saw a pair of shoes in front of him. He slowly looked up, and oh, the sight almost knocked his breath out. His mouth is slightly open and he gripped his phone tightly.

There in front of him, is Lan Wangji, looking so ethereal as ever. He wore a simple white pants that hugged his long legs, partnered by a white turtleneck longsleeve and a blue jacket. He have his white ribbon with cloud patterns on his wrist, which ends dance on the autumn breeze. He is also wearing a gold scarf which matched his golden eyes.  In short, he looked like a model who could cover every magazine in the country.

"Wei Ying."

Wei Wuxian snapped out of his stupor at the call of his name. He felt his cheek heat up when he was caught staring.

"L-Lan Zhan! You're here!" He exclaimed and cursed himself when he stuttered a little.

"Mn. Sorry to keep you waiting." Lan Wangji apologized to him.

"Oh no! I didn't wait that long." He assured and they started walking towards the booth that sells the ticket.

"By the way, you look good today!" He winked and saw how the tip of his ears blushed. He giggled and thought how cute it is.

"Wei Ying looks good too." Lan Wangji gave the compliment back and Wei Wuxian cannot help but smile.

The two then bought a ticket, even argued in front of the booth on who to pay. Wei Wuxian said that he'll pay for it because he's the one who asked him out. But Lan Wangji didn't back down, he presented his own card in front of the employee, who's now looking at both of their cards. In the end, they made an agreement that Wei Wuxian will pay for their ticket and Lan Wangji will cover their meal.
