Best date ever~

A/N: Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't updated for so loonngg!!:(( It's just that I was busy and I really have this idea on my mind but I don't know how to stretch it yet to turn it into a full story.

Anyways, since it's the first anniversary of #TheUntamed today, I figured I could write a short one shot.

It's already quarter to 7 but Wei Wuxian is not yet ready for his date. On other times, he doesn't mind being late because his friends and siblings are used to him being late already. But tonight is different, because he'll be going out with Lan Wangji. Just thinking about it sends butterflies to his stomach. He wants to be presentable to Wangji, and he knows how strict he is with time.

That's why almost all off Wei Wuxian's clothes are laid out on his bed. He's been trying to find a presentable clothes to wear. And that's when he realized that he should've asked the man where they are going today so he knows what to wear. He looked at the clock and almost screamed when he saw that he only have 5 minutes. So he picked his usual outfit and went to change. He picked a tattered fitted black jeans that hugged his legs, wore a fitted red v-neck t shirt and topped it off with a blacl denim jacket. Satisfied with his look, he went out his room just in time to hear the doorbell.

His heart is beating fast as he approached the door. He can't hide his happiness and a little nervousness as he opens the door. When he saw Lan Wangju, he almost forgot to breath and just stared at the man infront of him. His brain stop functioning as he looked at the perfection, named Lan Wangji,in front of him. The man is wearing a white jeans that hugged his long and slender legs. He's wearing a blue fitted t-shirt and partnered it with a faded blue denim jacket. They both wear the same get-up, only the colors are different. His eyes travel above and he was met with a pair of golden eyes. Wei Wuxian didn't even realized that his mouth was open so he immediately closed it and swallowed a few times because his throat became dry all of a sudden.

"Wei Ying." He was snapped out of his stupor when he heard him speak.

"Lan Zhan, you're here." He managed to speak and unconsciously licked his now dried lips. He missed how Wangji's eyes stared at his action and how the other's eyes darken for a moment.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah! I was just done getting ready when you arrived." Wei Wuxian answered and checked his if he got his phone and keys with him. Wangji then nodded and motioned for them to get moving.

"Lan Zhan, where are we going anyway?" Wei Wuxian asked him. Based on the other man's outfit, they won't go on a fancy restaurant . Good thing he wore a casual attire today.

"Where do you want to go?" Wangji asked him back, his eyes are fixed on the road.

"The park is a perfect place to go right now! Street foods are set up and I heard there's gonna be fireworks display later on!" He excitedly answered when he remembered the details. That's the main reason why he asked his friends a while ago. But good thing they're not available because he got a date with Lan Wangji!

He heard him muttered a small "Mn." before he drive to the place. They arrived there a while after and they both walked inside the vicinity. It's a closed area surrounded by high metal fences. They can see the stalls set up on the sidewalks. The spicy smells hit Wei Wuxian's nose and can't help but feel a little hungry. He didn't eat properly a while ago as he was busy freaking out getting ready for tonight.

Lan Wangji seemed to noticed this so he motioned for them to go. And that's when Wei Wuxian realized something.

"Lan Zhan, is it okay with you to eat street foods?" He asked the man. He was so occupied earlier that he forgot about Lan Wangji. He knew the man never eat this kind of food. For years that he knew him, he never once saw him eat street foods
