Azuncion Series #1: Start of Something Surreal

Chapter 6

It has been a week since I see Javier. It's not that I miss him. Nakakapanibago lang.

I am on my way to school and I am currently riding a tricycle. I arrived in school ten minutes early so that I will not be late.

I was about to walked to my classroom when I saw a familiar back. Leaning against a tree with a girl under him. Oh... Maybe that's why.

I shrugged the thought and continue to walk to my classroom. I noticed that I am infront of the door now. I turned the door knob at sinalubong ako ng mga ingay. Ang iba nagbabatuhan ng mga papel and some are chit chatting.

I just sat on my chair and waited for the teacher. Maybe he won't enter this class too. Hindi na siya masususpend sa pag-absent niya? Why am I even thinking of him? Duh.. because you care. No! I don't he can do whatever he wants.

We greeted the teacher and he started discussing the lesson. I'm right he didn't enter the class.

It's break time and Jaze went in my classroom para sabay kaming kumain. I started eating in the canteen with Jaze.

We were talking about some stuff when some girls are squeaking, and looked at the entrance of the canteen. It was Javier with two other guys. He looked so good in his long sleeve that was folded.

I recognize the other guy. He's so familiar. His name is at the end of my tounge and I can't say it. Argh! Forget it. But where's the girl that I saw with him early in the morning leaning against the tree. Maybe they made out. Or even worse.

His cold eyes met mine and his jaw clenched. He's walking towards me and I thought he'll say hi or just nod at me.

But he didn't. He just walked pass by me like he didn't know me. Like he didn't kiss me on the first day of school. Like we didn't made out in his car and the classroom.

Hindi ko alam pero parang may pumiga ng dibdib ko at hindi ako makahinga. "Hey! Are you okay?" Nag-aalalang tanong sakin ni Jaze.

"Yes, I'm fine." I assured her. But no I'm a little hurt. "Let's go?" I wanted to get out of here badly.

"Yeah let's go." we stood up and went out of the canteen. Does he have any problem with me? I can't think of anything that I did wrong to him.

"Ang gwapo nila no" kinikilig na sabi no Jaze. "Huh?"

"I said ang ga-gwapo nila" ulit niya kahit narinig ko naman. "yeah.." I hesitated. "Kilala mo ba sila?" parang nagulat pa siya sa tanong ko.

"Of course I know them. Who wouldn't?" parang hindi siya makapaniwala. "Don't tell me you don't?" ini-expect niya talaga siguro na kilala ko sila. Well kilala ko ang dalawa- si Javier and hindi ko natandaan ang isa pero nakapag-usap na kami. I nodded in her question.

"Maybe because you're a transferee that's why. They are the Azuncion. They are cousins but they're also the best of friends." we are now on our way to our next class. We were walking in the hallway with many students.

"The one that you saw on the left, with blonde hair, he is Jerick Zan Azuncion. And on the right it's Aron Yvo Fuentes." right Aron. He said Aron is his name. Now I remember.

"The one that you saw in the middle it's Kaden Javier Azuncion. He's the coldest among the three of them." So he's name is Kaden.

"Remember when I asked you if you know Kaden Azuncion?"

"No. I don't remember"

"I just want to tell you that that man is.." I am curious. "Devilishly handsome!" akala ko kung ano na. Oo na gwapo naman talaga siya. Inaamin ko pero hindi ko parin nakakalimutan ang tingin niya sakin kanina sa canteen.

Andito na pala kami. Jaze said ba-bye because we don't have the same section. I waved goodbye at her and entered the room. Ms. Keve entered the room. We greeted her and sat down. "Class I have something to announce. Next month will be our Intramurals." the class cheered. "And I'm hoping that you will all participate."

"Yes Ms." we said in chorus.

"Now where did we end yesterday..." she started to discuss and I focused on her. But I still keep on glancing at the empty chair beside me. The bell rang and we bid her goodbye.

The hours went fast and it's already dismissal. I arranged my bag and went to Jaze's classroom. She went out "Girl, sorry I have to go now. Family matter." she said apologetic. "It's okay, go now. It's important"

"Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"Yes go now" I assured her.

It seems really important because she ran fast.

I am on my way to the locker room because I will leave my books there. I was putting my books in the locker and was about to close it when a hand closed it before me.

I can smell his manly scent. I know this smell. I turned around to meet his eyes. It wasn't cold. I can't explain the look on his face.

"J-javier" I stuttered because I am so nervous and I don't know why.

He put me in between his two arms. i can't look at him directly because his stare makes my legs weak.

"Did you miss me?" he asked.

I still can't look at him. He lifted my chin which made me look at him. "Did you miss me, baby?" he repeat.

I don't know what to answer him. I shook my head. "Hmm..." his hands left the locker door and went to my waist. He buried his head in my neck. He smelled me like he's addicted.

"Really?" still on my neck. I tried so hard not to react but he licked my neck and that made me moan.

I can feel him smiling in my neck before he went near my ear and whispered, "I'll ask again, did you miss me, baby girl?" he faced me. Smiling. His hands are still on my waist. I slowly nodded.

He patted my head.

"Now that's a good girl."
