"What are you excited about on this trip, Nick?"

Nick wants to wipe out the stupid grin on Warren's face. Mula sa biyahe nila hanggang sa pagdating nila sa Geneva ay wala itong bukambibig kundi ang excitement nito.

Napailing si Nick. Ang tinutukoy ni Warren ay noong mga bata pa sila. They were sent camping with other boy scouts. He got home sick and Ollie got violent.

He likes talking to Warren. Pero minsan sumosobra na ang bunganga nito.

"I can't go skiing," sagot niya.

"Is it because of the operation? Natatakot ka na baka bumukas 'yung sugat mo? Tama. Don't go skiing. Imagine going through the snow trailing with blood behind you. You'd be screaming in pain and then Ollie would show up to punch you on the nose," at tumawa ng malakas si Warren.

He clenched his jaw and shook his head. Parang tuwang-tuwa pa si Warren sa nangyari sa kanya.

"Wala na akong sugat. I have healed completely. I just don't want to go skiing this time," sagot niya.

"Do you miss Harriet that much?"

Pinukol ni Nick ng matalim na tingin ang kaibigan.

"Shut your mouth, okay?"

Tumawa lang ito.

"Ba't ka ba natatakot? We're in Geneva, Switzerland. Walang nakakaalam na hinalikan mo ang assistant mo. The same assistant who took you to the hospital after our night of beer and girls," sabi nito.
