part nine - others?

*Hope's POV*

didn't see that coming, huh? ^^

Me and Adrianna look over at Anai who has lost all color in her face, and is barely keeping her eyes open. I try to get Daniel's attention since he has her wrapped up in his arms, but nothing. He looks so lost in thought. Finally something snaps him out of it.

Anai - "I don't feel so-" she said faintly before she passed out

Daniel - "Anai?! Wake up, Princess please." he pleaded trying to shake her awake

Hope - "Stop, you'll make it worst!" I warned

Daniel - "How do you know that?" he questioned

Adrianna - "HOPE!" she screamed at me because I just did something that I shouldn't have 

I honestly don't care if I risk our secret, if it means I get Daniel to stop hurting Anai, then I'll do it. She is my queen after all, and if she doesn't live, we all die because she has no successor.\

Hope - "Daniel" I said calmly, "do you feel a warm substance on your hand?" I asked

Daniel - "Yes OMG is it blood?!" he screamed, fear filling his eyes

Adrianna - "No, it's not also Hope shut up before you say too much." my sister warned

Hope - "It's her magic mixed with a slime type substance to encase her body and protect her, if she uses her powers on land without her heart stone, she'll get covered in this stuff and then get congealed in this 'casing' and have to be woken up by touching the original heart stone." he looked at me with confused eyes "It's a defense mechanism so that her powers can't be drained from her."

He gives me an "oh" face and then he began to stand up holding Anai in his arms. All three of us walk out, and Daniel is carrying Anai. We got stopped by the principal on the way out.

"What happened?" she questioned us

"Oh, she had a panic attack during the shooting, so we are taking to the nurses office right now." Daniel replied

"Okay be careful with her." the Principal replied back

We started walking faster to Daniel's car at this point not wanting anyone else to stop us.

"That was too close." Adrianna said while glaring at me 

"Let's just get her to Daniel's house"

"What! Why mine?" he questioned me

"Do you really want to go to her house, walk up to her mom and be like ' Oh yea your daughter who is one of things you hate most in life is about to be congealed in her own magic and won't wake up until she is reunited with the original heart stone.'" I replied with a little bit of sass

"Oh." he said suddenly shutting up

"Yea." Adrianna piped up

*Time skip to Daniel's house*

"Guys she is almost completely covered in this stuff and its starting to harden." Daniel said starting to freak out

"Where is her heart stone?" Adrianna asks

"Um, well she stayed here last night so I'm guessing it's in my room" Daniel said trying to calm down a little

"Okay and is there a private bathroom where we can run a bath?" I ask ready to run off

"Yea in my room" Daniel began to say, "down that hallway and to the right" he says pointing to our left

"Okay thanks, now follow us" I say running into his room and to his bathroom, starting to run warm water

"Found it!" I hear Adrianna say from within Daniels room

"Hurry" I say loosing my patience, "Daniel place her in the water, Adrianna give him the necklace" I say

"Okay now what do I do she's almost completely covered?!" Daniel says finally panicking all the way

"Calm down, she'll sense your uneasiness, now place the necklace in the place that hasn't congealed yet." I say and that place just happens to be her face. "Hurry!!" I exclaim

"Okay! It's done." he said just as the gel consumed her face

We sat there for a couple minutes and began to walk away when we heard a big pop, just like if a bubble had burst. We turned around and saw Daniel in tears. He ran up to her so fast I swear Flash was quaking.

"Anai, are you okay?" He said while starting to fill the bathtub with his tears

"Daniel?"she said shakily

"Yes babygirl it's me" he said grabbing her hand

"Their so cute together" Adrianna whispers to me

"You scared me Anai," Daniel said crying even more

"I'm sorry Dani, but I couldn't let all those people get hurt because the darkness sent that dude after me." She said looking back up at him soaked

"It's okay, I'm just glad that you're okay, I love you." Daniel says leaning closer to her as she starts to sit up more

"I love you too." She says staring in his eyes and began leaning in too

"Okay let's give them some privacy" I say pulling Adrianna to turn around.

We both start walking away and we were sitting on Daniel's bed when we started hearing singing coming from the bathroom

"Wow he's good, also is he singing Anai's favorite song?" Adrianna asked me

"Yep, I told you they were made for each other." I say shrugging 

After a while they both walk out, and Anai is in what I'm assuming is Daniel's sweats and hoodie. Anai is looking at us questioningly, so I'm assuming Daniel told her what happened.

"Are y'all?" she says looking at both of us

"Does he know?" Adrianna asked

"Yes." She says

"Then yes, yes we are." I replied

"Wait really?!" Anai asked excitedly

"Yep, our grandmother's were besties" Adrianna said with a smile

"THAT'S SO COOL!!!!!!!" Anai screamed with pure joy on her face, "Wait do y'all have powers too?!" She says with a smile

"I don't know do we?" Adrianna says with a smirk as the water in the tub starts boiling, and steaming

"Hmmm, do I?" I also say with a smirk as the same tub water starts configuring into dolphins jumping out of the water

"WOAH! Wait, y'all have the same powers I do?" she asks

"Well, no, but yes. You have the three basic powers, while we only have one of the basic powers each, and since you're a royal not only do you have all three of the basic powers, you have the ability to control animals of the sea and one hidden power." I say

"I have a WHAT?!" Anai screams

This chapter was 1,038 words long, I hope y'all enjoyed it. Do you like the route I took? I think this book is taking an interesting route, but our limit is our imagination right?
