part fourteen

*Anai's POV*

"What are you." is all I heard, until I opened my eyes, somewhere not in the cove?

*Daniel's POV* 

Great the boys followed and found out, I thought as I mentally face palmed, I was lost in my thoughts until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked behind me to two girls with their mouths opened in shock, pointing to where Anai was.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" I said screaming a little lotta bit

"Sh-sh-she teleported." Hope said, stuttering the first part

"What?" I thought she was a mermaid not a superhero?!" I relied back in udder shock

"M-m-m-mermaids." Zach choked out

"You've got to be kidding." Jonah said putting his hand on Zach's shoulder

"You heard that?" Adrianna said, fear lacing voice

"Y'all are mermaids?" Corbyn asked, then he looked at me, "Even you Daniel?" he said with disappointment in his eyes

I didn't even know what to say, like obviously the truth but how are you supposed to say that your girlfriend is the queen of the mermaids. this darkness is out to kill her, she just teleported out of this cove somehow, and that anybody who knows gets killed possibly.

"ANAI TELEPORTED AND WE COULD GET KILLED ALSO MERMAIDS ARE REAL?!" Jack screamed

"Yes, also no Corbyn I am not a merman I am the boyfriend of the queen of mermaids though.." I said trailing off the last part a bit

They all stared at me in udder shock, like they just learnt that a narwhals horn is a tooth and not a horn.

"Daniel," I heard Hope whisper behind me, "we need to find her, now." she looking at me, her face serious

All of a sudden we heard a splash come from the water, Hope looked at the water and pulled up what ever just fell into it.

"Baby!!" I screamed running over to a currently soaked Anai, Hope was moving her to the ledge

"What did I just do Dani??" She questioned me as she snuggled her head into my chest and I enveloped her in my arms

"Why don't you ask the twins." I said rubbing her back

"Adri? Hope?" She looked an questioned them, then her eyes fell on the other people in the cove

"BOYS?!" she screamed, terrified

"It's fine, we told them." Hope responded, Anai was still looking at the boys who's faces were in udder shock of what just happened

"Anyways, we found out what your hidden power was, it's teleportation! Also sorry but we forgot, you have a blood thirsty siren that is hidden deep within you, and will come out when provoked." Hope said trying to lighten the mood by doing jazz hands

There was a long pause after she said that.

"That's it, I can't take this! I'm out." Zach said, throwing his hands in the air, as if he were surrendering, Jonah stopped him, his hand still on his shoulder 

"Oh and she can lure anyone with her singing too." Adrianna chimed in

"Great." Anai mumbled, crossing her arms and looked at the ground, she looked up towards the boys, "and you guys, you probably think I'm a freak and are going to go tell the whole world." My baby said, her eyes becoming glassy

"We don't, and we won't." Jonah piped up

"Yea, we'll help you." Corbyn chimed in

"Why? This is my fight, not yours." Anai replied, finally letting a tear fall

"Actually-" Jonah chirped in, but was cut off with Adrianna questioning him

"You're not? You can't be." Adrianna said in more shock then when Zach found out

"Well-" Jonah started but was cut off by Corbyn

"Only me and Jonah." Corbyn said, all seriousness in his tone

"WHAT?!" All three girls yelled at the same time

What the actual heck is happening right now, I put my hand in Anai's and looked down at her, her jaw was practically on the floor at this point with tears falling.

"Okay! That is actually it, I'm OUT!" Zach screamed, stumbling out of the cove because of how shocked he was

"I'll go get him." Jack said, Jonah nodding at him

"Surprise?" Corbyn said with a slight smile on his face, shrugging his shoulders
