Secrets

~part nineteen~

*Anai's POV*

I wake up with a slight pain in my right leg, at first I didn't mind it but as minutes passed it only got worse. I tried to move and grab where it was hurting but that's when I felt the binds on my hands restrict.

"What the-" was all I managed to get out before I felt another pain in the back of my head

*Corbyn's POV*

'the last thing I remember is hitting something hard... but I can't remember why. Something is up, I need to-' my thoughts we cut off by someone talking.. their voice sounded familiar, like a female.

"What the-" was all I heard when I heard someone hit something hard.

I tried to get up but I couldn't, I don't know why I didn't notice this when I regained my consciousness but my feet were tied together, same with my hands.

'what the heck is happening' I questioned as I began wiggling trying to get free, as soon as I began to make progress I knocked into something, a shelf maybe, whatever it was made a loud noise and attracted the attention of the person who was looking after us? I don't even know if there is an us in here or what I heard was just a figment of my imagination but just in case I stopped squirming and layed where I was. I heard large foot steps growing closer to me and they suddenly stopped.

"what the-" a deep voice choked out before he was what sounded like knocked over

"Corbs?" that same female voice from earlier spoke out, I opened my eyes only to be met with her blue ones

"Anai?" I questioned, "So you're the other voice that I heard." I said coming to realization

I tried to get up to hug her but then remembered I hadn't finished freeing myself. Anai saw me struggling and a look of realization spread across her face.

"Oh, let me help you with that" She said laughing as she bent down to help me.

"How did you get out of those ropes? Also what did you do to that guy?" I said as I pointed to the unconscious bulk of man on the ground in the corner.

"I don't know all I remember is coming to only just to be knocked out again and then I felt my siren take over and that was about it." she said shrugging as she got up and dusted her knees off

"Where are we?" I said as I finally got off the ground

"I have no idea..." she whispered
