part sixteen

*Anai's POV*

"I- I- I'm the 'legendary queen' whose supposed to kill this so called darkness, I'm the hope?" I said shakily

"Not only that, but deep within myself I can feel it, the darkness, he knows your powers have reached full potential." Adrianna said her voice full of worry, then her eyes started changing from the the bright blue to completely and totally black. "I'm coming for you," a deep voice boomed, "I will win again, and you freaks will be wiped out, again." her eyes went back to normal and she fell to the ground

Oh my God what is happening, he's out to get me, he's going to kill me, he's going to wipe out our population, he's going to destroy my Abuela's legacy, I thought and started to panic.

Calm down, you're going to be fine. I heard a voice say inside my head

Who are you? Am I going crazy, yea that's it I'm going crazy how can I be some legendary queen if I can't- , I was cut off by the voice again

Look up , the voice said and I was met with Jonah's eyes

How are yo- I was cut off again

I can read people's minds. He simply stated

Is that just a merman thing or- I thought, really confused

Kind of, I'm sort of like a duke, so somewhat royalty, therefore I have an extra power, but our only difference is one, our extra power, and two you can control all three basic powers, I can only control one, heat, he mind waved to me

wow, so you're like, my cousin? I thought 

yep, and the Bean over there, his power is ice, Jonah thought

Kinda suits him, not gonna lie, I mean his frosted hair kinda looks like icicles hehe.  I thought back

The others were looking at us like we were crazy because I didn't even realize it but me and Jonah were laughing our butts off. Daniel was glaring at Jonah while Corbyn looked confused, but then his face turned into realization.

"JONAH! I was supposed to introduce my powers, and no, Anai, I am not Jack Frost." Corbyn said with and eye roll at the end

Me and the girls were just standing there looking at each other until we all couldn't hold it in any longer. We all burst out laughing and all the boys look at us with questioning eyes.

"What's so funny?" Corbyn asked, his voice hurt

"uhhh-" me and the girls started at the same time

Daniel budded in, "I think they're laughing at you bro." He said laughing

Corbyn's face turned hurt, he looked at each and every one of us and started to fake cry, placing his hand on his heart 'offendedly'. We all just started laughing harder and harder and Corbyn's face went red.

*2 days later*

Zach had finally come to terms that mermaids were real. He had a full on mental breakdown questioning everything he ever knew, and Jack tried to make him feel better but it only made it worse. That poor baby, I mean I was scared when I first found out, but I didn't react like that. That was a little over dramatic, but ya know he got over it.. eventually. Me and Daniel are doing great, he's been a tremendous help over these two days, I mean training has been a pain in the butt, and sometimes my siren comes out, and she is no joke, but she has surfaced and fused with my personality, but sometimes she just takes full on control, but hey it's just normal girl things. I accidentally teleported to Disney World, which I didn't mind but I kind of freaked out because I teleported onto Space Mountain mid ride so that was um, nice. Then right as the ride ended, I was back home. Jonah and I have gotten really close, he is an awesome cousin, and so have me a Corbs but I still bully him and call him 'Jack Frost' and he kind of hates me for it, but hey what can ya do? everything was going along smoothly until...

Sorry I've been kinda M.I.A on y'all I'm figuring out how this is all gonna play out, and figuring out if I'm gonna make another book.

We lost a precious angel, and a friend to the boys, and a son. He was taken to soon because of someones poor choice
