part eleven

*Daniel's POV*

I wake up to hear someone knocking on my door, but not my front door, my bedroom door. Weird , I thought. I opened the door.

*Anai's POV*

I felt Daniel get up, which I didn't really didn't question because we have school today, but I had to admit I missed his warmness. Then that's when things got weird.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" I hear Daniel scream, he was completely blocking the door way so I couldn't see who it was

"I can sense her, let me in" A voice said, it was too deep to be a woman's, but too high pitched to be a male's

"You can sense who?" Daniel questioned now crossing his arms

"Her." I saw a silhouetted figure point towards me, they were on their tippy toes trying to look over Daniel's shoulder

I began to panic, I didn't know what to do, but then I remembered the tub. I began channeling my powers as the tub's piping began to shake. Soon a stream of water was coming out of the bathroom, I pointed it towards Daniel, and it wrapped around him, and I pointed it towards the figure and it wrapped around them too. Omg I'm actually doing this  , I thought, but I kept on. I brought Daniel over to me and sat him on his bed. At this point I was also dragging the figure over keeping him in the water's grasp. As I brought him into the light, I realized I knew who he was.

"Anai, baby." Daniel said, bringing me out of my shock

"You." I gritted through my teeth

"Ah, so the FREAK remembers me." He smirks

I looked over my shoulder at Daniel, who was looking back and forth between me and this ... monster.

"Why are you here?" I questioned, my voice starting to rise

"I don't know, all I know is that the darkness is calling your name, calling for murder." He grinned and laughed hysterically, just like how the school shooter did

"YOU, YOU DID THAT?!" I said referring to the school and I think he knew what I was talking  about

"Oh that little show at your school, oh yes sweetcheeks, I did, did you like our little game?" He said grinning

At this point I was getting mad and my eyes started to glow, and I think Daniel noticed.

"Princess," he put his hand on my forearm, "just focus, but don't loose control, your eyes are red, not blue, regain control." he soothed

I began to calm down, but I still wanted to have a little fun. I thought about the stream of water that was holding him from his shoulders to his feet to start get warmer.

"Oh, girls getting hot ain't she?" he laughed, obviously starting to feel the heat, "is that all you got 'princess'" he mimicked Daniel

soon the water started to steam, and you could slowly start seeing bubbles to arise, the water was slowly starting to boil.

"Anai." Daniel said, his jaw dropping to the floor

"Don't, you have no idea what he's done to me, my past Daniel, before I ever even met you." I seethed, the water starting to catch a steady boil

"Ou, ouch. This is actually starting to burn." he said, his skin starting to get red, and bubble

"Anai, that's enough." Daniel said trying to get me to stop

"Fine, maybe the heat isn't for him, maybe he needs a ... cool down." I said smirking, only it wasn't me talking anymore, it was another person or being that was living deep within me, and she loved watching people suffer, I could feel it

The water started freezing all around the water that snaked around him began to crystallize and before I knew it he fell to the floor, knees buckled, everything. He began to look up at me and tried to speak, but then water wrapped around his mouth keeping him quiet.

"Look at you" the thing inside me started to speak,"all tied up, on the ground, like the pig you are." she cackled

"Anai" I heard Daniel say behind me, I didn't even realize that I was towering over the captive at the moment

"Yes" she screeched, obviously annoyed by Daniel for ruining her 'fun'

*Daniel's POV*

Anai or whatever was talking for her looked at me, eyes bright red, the twins told me about this, the royals had a siren that lived in them, buried down deep into their personalities. Deep, deep, down. They said that they are, ahhh what did they say? Oh sh*t. They're blood thirsty creatures that take over their owner whenever someone they love is in danger or when they feel threatened in a battle, they're protectors of some sort. I saw Anai's eyes flicker back and forth between blue and red, until they finally landed on blue, and you can see the horror that over took her face.

"Oh my God, Daniel what am I doing, I was only holding him so he couldn't move, did I burn him, and then .." she paused, starting to tear up, "freeze him?" she said full on crying at this point

"It wasn't you, at least not your inner persons who did it." I said walking over to her

"oh..." she said as she came over sobbing into my shoulder, "I knew I hated him, but I never thought I could do that," she said pointing to the currently knocked out dude on the floor, " to someone." she cried

"It's okay it wasn't you, now ill tie him down and lock him in my closet as you go get ready for school, okay?" I said looking down at my precious angel, I felt so bad, she doesn't deserve to go through all of this trauma

"okay." she whispered into my chest

"I love you." I said as she began to go find some clothes

"I love you too." I heard her sniffle

I'm worried about her, I don't think her heart can handle this type of trauma, I mean she doesn't even know that she has a siren lying deep within her. The only reason I know is because the twins told me, and they didn't want her to know because they didn't think she was ready. But seeing my baby go through that, that bloodlust that filled her eyes when she was hovering over that dude, it scared me. And the last thing I wanted to know was, who is this dude and what did he do to my babygirl, all those years ago?

a/n

hey guys today's chapter was 1,062 words long! Also I know this is kind of scary, but I wanted to try to vary my style ish. How do y'all feel about the siren within her? Do you think she will be a help, or hurt Anai more?

Also guys this is gonna be a little more serious right here at this point so if you don't care scroll down, and I don't know lol. Okay lil shout out to @ loopyloulj14 because she was really nice to me, and gave me a little encouragement to keep going because of something that happened to me that i commented on on one of her stories, she reached out and it was really special to me, because not even my friends said half of what she said when this event actually happened. It's the fact that I was a complete stranger to her that warmed my heart and gave me some faith that humanity isn't completely gone, and we all have it within us, it's if we choose to use it and embrace it or not as to whether this world will really change. It starts with one but has to end with many to work.
